#Beersaturday. Saturday quick pint out.

One of the more quirky Pubs in Newton Abbot is the Teignworthy brewery Taphouse. Handy for a quick pint when I drop off my house guest @scubahead for his night shift.

Rather basic and rustic inside but a great selection of beers on tap.

Tonight’s tipple was Utopian Brewing Ten Degrees which was a very tasty Czechia style larger at 3.9%ABV it’s an easy drinking session beer. With the positive that Utopian are supporting the Ukrainian people by making donations to
“WeStandWithUkraine” for every 6 pack that people buy.

It’s also Vegan if thats what floats your boat mind you it’s got a lot more flavour than you would expect from a 3.9%ABV beer probably due to the double decoction mash. This is archived by removing a portion of the mash, boiling it and returning it to the main mash. This method is a particular favourite this German and Czech brewers but not that common in the UK.
