#BeerSaturday And now for Something completely different

Well, Oakham Citra certainly is completely different.

This 4.6% ABV session IPA from the Oakham Ales microbrewery in Peterborough has a very interesting taste. The beer won a Champion Golden Beer of Great Britain 2019 accolade so it can't be half bad.

Made with Citra Hops from the US and Maris Otter and Clear Choice malts this gives a nice light golden colour and a citrus tang to the IPA it's really a refreshing pint and would go down very well cold on a hot summers day, mind you that's when I'd normally be drinking cider.

From their web site www.oakhamales.com as well as bottles they also do 10 and 20 litre polyboxes, sort of a big wine box full of beer, now what's not to love about that. Perfect for getting your mates around when this lockdown is all over.

All for now Hivers there is another bottle to open and it's going down very well.
