Enjoying an unfiltered beer (Aguila unfiltered) and a delicious premium hamburger in Valencia

How are you friends on this #beersaturday?

I'm really in good spirits today, maybe because I'm almost ready to enjoy a few days of vacation.

But before I get to the long-awaited moment of summer, I wanted to share with you my pleasant experience this week with a beer that I had never tried before and that has paired very well with the food I ordered.

The story begins in Valencia, last Wednesday, when I was walking around near my hotel and I saw this burger place that I saw several people enter in a short time and gave me a good feeling that it could be a good place to have dinner and a beer.

After sitting at one of the tables, I consulted the menu through the QR code and selected a premium burger called Ave Cesar and asked for information about the beers available to which I indicated that there was Heineken beer, Estrella Galicia or unfiltered Aguila.

So, as I had never tried the unfiltered Aguila beer, the selection on my part was simple, as I was eager to experience new flavors.

Aguila Unfiltered

As its name suggests, this Spanish beer is brewed by eliminating the process of filtering the beer between fermentation and bottling, and as its label says, it follows the brewing process of the year 1900.

Therefore, this beer looks as if it has just come out of the fermentation tank, which gives it a slightly cloudy color, as the yeast in suspension has been manually controlled by a master brewer.

As for its flavor, due to the brewing process, it has a very characteristic flavor where its aromas are intensified.

When serving it in the glass, it is important to have previously read its back label, as it indicates that we must previously turn the beer but without shaking it in order to awaken the yeast in suspension and thus enjoy its flavor even more.

AVE CESAR Burger

The Ave Caesar burger, which I ordered is a premium crispy chicken burger, accompanied by crispy bacon, lettuce and parmesan that was very tasty and juicy.

Pairing

The pairing between the unfiltered Aguila beer and the selected burger was perfect, because the salty touches of the burger due to the parmesan cheese and bacon combined very well with the bitter sips of the beer due to its high yeast content.

I will definitely select this combination of burger and unfiltered Aguila beer on more occasions without a doubt.
