ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello all cat lovers! Last week, I was able to meet my cat Ikki, a cute, short-tempered panther who prefers the company of her human father (my boyfriend). There isn't a day that I don't think about Ikki and wish I could pamper him like in the past, but for now, I have to make do with the photographs and the visits I make to the countryside every one or two months.
I would be lying to say that when I arrive, Ikki doesn't recognize me. But I feel that his excitement at seeing me is nothing compared to the enormous affection he seems to have for his human father. You can see that when he lets himself be carried with him, in his oval and tender face, you can see how comfortable and satisfied he is, something that changes when I carry him, because it seems like he is counting the seconds until I can put him down 😆
Ikki enjoys every moment he can share with his human father, knowing that he is busy with his work all week. In a way, their relationship makes me jealous, but it also comforts me. I prefer Ikki to be more attached to my boyfriend, since he has the opportunity to see him every day. It would be a shame if, being emotionally attached to me, he could only see me sporadically, so I'll settle for letting him hold him and kiss him a little when I'm visiting.
Sleeping next to Ikki is also pleasant for me. In the past, when he was a puppy, he would look for me a lot to sleep next to me and that scared me, because he liked to get into the space of my neck and I was afraid of crushing him haha But now that he is an adult cat, he always I call him to come to my side of the bed and if I'm lucky enough, Ikki will let me hug him. Although of course, most of the time, he prefers to lie on the side of the bed where his human father is 😔

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los gatos! La semana pasada, pude encontrarme con mi gato Ikki, una linda pantera de mal genio que prefiere la compañía de su padre humano (mi novio). No hay día que no piense en Ikki y en desear poder mimarlo como en el pasado, pero por los momentos, tengo que conformarme con las fotografías y las visitas que hago hasta el campo cada uno o dos meses.
Mentiría al decir que al llegar, Ikki no me reconoce. Pero siento que su emoción por verme no es nada comparada con el enorme afecto que parece tenerle a su padre humano. Eso se ve cuando se deja cargar con él, en su rostro ovalado y tierno, se puede apreciar lo cómodo y satisfecho, cosa que cambia cuando yo lo cargo, pues pareciera que contara los segundos para que lo baje 😆
Ikki disfruta de cada momento que puede compartir con su padre humano, pues sabe que toda la semana está ocupado con su trabajo. En cierto modo, la relación de ellos dos me da celos, pero también me reconforta. Prefiero que Ikki esté más apegado a mi novio, ya que tiene oportunidad de verlo todos los días. Sería una maldad que estando apegado emocionalmente a mí, sólo pudiera verme esporádicamente, así que, me conformo con que lo deje cargar y besar un poco cuando estoy de visita.
Dormir junto a Ikki, también me resulta agradable. En el pasado, cuando era un cachorro, él me buscaba mucho para dormir a mi lado y eso me daba miedo, porque le gustaba meterse en el espacio de mi cuello y yo, temía aplastarlo jaja Pero ahora que ya es un gato adulto, siempre lo llamo para que se ponga a mi lado de la cama y si soy lo suficientemente afortunada, Ikki me dejará abrazarlo. Aunque claro, la mayoría del tiempo, prefiere acostarse del lado de la cama en donde está su padre humano 😔
