Today is Saturday, which means that we will meet Tom the cat. Caturday.
Despite the night frosts, during the day the temperature rises to 5 degrees Celsius. This is a completely comfortable temperature for cats, and Tom the cat now rushes to the village with renewed energy in the morning.
There is a dog living in the yard on the street side, and Tom the cat doesn’t really like yard dogs, so we usually drive up from the garden and go to grandpa through the garden.
Today we were walking through the garden towards the house when Tom the cat became interested in a honeysuckle bush growing near the path.
Despite the rather deep snow, Tom the cat left the path and headed towards the honeysuckle bush.
Tom the cat came up and sniffed the bush carefully. It was clear from his appearance that the cat was unhappy.
Apparently, some strange cat came at night and "left a letter" on the branches.
After “reading the letter” again, Tom the cat decisively turned around and “wrote” his resolution on top of the “letter.”
Having dug the snow with satisfaction, Tom the cat went out onto the path and continued his way to the house.
