We are experiencing the third heat wave this summer where I live. The third?!?!?!!!
I don’t think we’ve had this many heat wave before. Luckily the temperature is only up to 30 to 32 Celsius not over 40 Celsius like the first heat wave we had. Although, it is pretty warm in my place. Most of us don’t have AC around here.
On top of the heat, the sky above us is covered with smoke from the wildfires making it hard to breath. My eyes and nose are a bit irritated. I hope the air quality gets better soon at least.
These photos are taken in the morning but light is so orange from the sun covered in smoke. It looks like it was taken at the sunset.
Pepper enjoyed the sun despite the heat and smoke.
Pepper is a indoor kitty and she usually doesn’t wander off from our place even with our door and the windows left open. We live on the third floor. We share the court yard and our balcony have access to our neighbours’ but the presence of the neighbours and their dogs is keeping Pepper close to home.
Although, I should keep better eye on her. We have our door and the windows open more often than before due to the heat wave. Which means that there are more chance for Pepper to wander off. One of our neighbours’s kitty went missing and haven’t come back yet. It is very sad. I don’t want that happening to Pepper.
只今、この夏３度目の熱波真っ只中です。暑いです。
それでも30度〜32度くらいですから、日本の暑さに比べたらまだまだですが暑いものは暑いのです、笑
今まで熱波が３度も来た夏はなかったと思います。なんだか世界がおかしな方向に向かっているようで不安になります。
そして熱波に加え各地で山火事が発生しています。ここ数日は空が煙に覆われて真っ白です。目や鼻がいがいがむずむずします。
写真は朝に撮ったものですが、夕方に撮った写真みたいです。太陽が煙の中だったのでオレンジ色の朝日でした。
ペッパーは暑くても煙くても通常運転。私も見習いたいと思いました。
そういえは先日、近所の猫ちゃんがいなくなってしまって、まだ帰ってきていません。
うちは3階で、ご近所と中庭とバルコニーをシェアしている感じの作りの建物です。
ペッパーは近所の方やワンコの気配がするので、玄関や窓を開けたままでも遠くへは行かないのですが、心配になってきました。今までこんなに度々暑くなることがなかったので、開けたままにすることも少なかったのですが、こうも暑いとドアや窓を開けておくことが多くなります。ペッパーがちょこっと出ていける確率も高くなっているってことになります。
出かける時は閉めますが、家にいる時も気をつけたいと思います。
