I can't believe it's already the weekend... but here we are: It's CATURDAY again! Happy Caturday everyone, and don't forget to share your favorite photos of your feline friends today!

It's very stormy outside and I have been watching the leaves flying off the trees. If I were still a kitten, I might be chasing them, but these days I'm happy to be inside in my nice warm house.

I'd just as well not be out there!

The Mom-Hooman Gets Creative!

So, with Halloween coming up, the Hoomans are always doing strange things that seem to involve pumpkins and using me as a "model" for various things.

In this case, she decided to do a little creative makeup... quite clever, if you ask me! She even called it an "eye Shadow!"

Of course, I don't have a long tail like that, but it's still nice to be honored!

Crypto Turbulence

Thinking about the current gyrations in the Cryptosphere makes me wonder whether we will always be looking at everything "in relation to Bitcoin."

Meaning... that pervasive pattern of every time Bitcoin rises, everything else seems to go down. Our Hive token just seemed to be "finding its feet" in a new 80-85 cent range and then BOOM, BTC takes off and we have a stiff 10% haircut.

Will any other currencies ever be able to "stand alone" and set their own trends?

Well, enough about that!

Hive Cats Community Growing!

Meanwhile, our Hive Cats Community has been slowly and steadily growing!

We are now up to 107 subscribers, and have 13 active users. I'd love to see that continue growing so we can have a large and thriving cat content community here on Hive... I know we have lots of cat lovers here!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
