Hive Cats Community Activity!

I have finally been finding a little time to put some extra effort into the Hive Cats Community, with a weekly "Cat Content Compendium" post, featuring some of the best Cat-related posts across the world of Hive.

Although we are closing in on 100 community members, we still don't have a lot of activity and that's the next thing I am planning to work on... it would be nice to see the community become a bit more of a mainstay among Hive's pet groups!

Hive: Off and Running or Temporary Blip?

Meanwhile, our local Hive token has taken off on a pretty spectacular run over the past couple of days... at one point reaching a new all-time high of $1.06 — wow!

Of course, things have settled down a bit now, and Hive is trading for around $0.85 but that's still looking very good to this cat!

The question now becomes whether or not Hive will stay at these elevated levels and continue building for another rise.

Gratitude for Consistency!

I find myself being very grateful for just "sticking to it" around here, regardless of whether things are bright like now, or they were pretty gloomy as when Hive was down around $0.11... not so terribly long ago!

I have always felt that consistency is the name of the game if you want to build an investment "portfolio." I little bit added every day — come rain OR shine — will ultimately stand us all in good stead.

I tend to be a pretty laid back cat, so I have never really had the temperament for chasing after risky moonshots!

What are Holiday Weekends for? NAPPING, of course!

Holiday Weekend!

Labor Day weekend always feels like the unofficial "ending" of summer (proper), before everything goes back to normal... schools, summer holidays over, harvesting vegetable gardens, the growing abd blooming season pretty much over.

The other day the Dad-Hooman and I were sitting in the office with the window open and heard the sound of geese, and sure enough... we spotted the first flock of geese flying south.

Meanwhile, the Hoomans are hoping for rain so they can go mushroom picking in the foothill forests!

And with that... I must get back to my afternoon nap!

If you're a cat lover and often/sometimes post pictures or other content that includes your feline friends, why not become an active part of Hive's growing Cat Communities?

These are some of the more active Cat Communities — why not join them ALL? Remember, you can also "cross-post" your cat posts to them!

HiveCats by @curatorcat is a central "gathering place" for cat content on Hive; promoting the use of the #hivecats tag for feline content!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the recently formed Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
