Ugh, peer pressure! As a mom, I hate it! I see how my kids are influenced by their friend's choices - the good and the bad - and I really would prefer them to stick to us, their parents, as their role models. I'm glad that you were able to recognise what was happening and to extricate yourself from unhealthy relationships and positively immerse yourself in healthy positive ones instead.
