¡Feliz Inicio de Semana! Espero que tengan una maravillosa semana y comiencen esta nueva con mucha actitud positiva, por mi parte inicio la mía compartiéndoles mi experiencia visitando el zoológico de mi ciudad, algo que quería hacer desde hace mucho tiempo y finalmente se dio después de casi un año sin ir, acompáñenme hasta el final para disfrutar de esta bonita experiencia a través de las fotos que aquí les comparto, sin más, ¡comencemos con el recorrido!

I hope you have a wonderful week and start this new one with a lot of positive attitude, for my part I start mine by sharing my experience visiting the zoo in my city, something I wanted to do for a long time and finally happened after almost a year without going , accompany me until the end to enjoy this beautiful experience through the photos that I share here, without further ado, ¡let's start with the tour!
En primer lugar les hablaré sobre este lugar que se llama Parque Zoológico La Guaricha, el único en la ciudad y que tiene ya muchos años activo, durante mi infancia recuerdo que era el lugar de preferencia de las familias para pasar un día diferente, ya que además de ser un Zoológico y contar con diferentes animales en exhibición también cuenta con un amplio espacio con áreas verdes donde las personas hacen picnics o simplemente se reúnen a compartir o hacer pequeñas celebraciones familiares o entre amigos.
El punto es que poco a poco el parque fue perdiendo su atractivo pero desde hace un tiempo han recuperado y mejorado sus espacios volviendo a hacer el mismo de antes, incluyendo nuevos animales y actividades recreativas para toda la familia, lo que llama muchísimo mi atención. La última vez que fui al zoológico fue el año pasado, justo en los días de Semana Santa y antes de eso no había ido desde que era niña, me gustó tanto volver allí que quise hacerlo nuevamente y no fue sino hasta la semana pasada que tuve la oportunidad.
First of all I will tell you about this place called La Guaricha Zoological Park, the only one in the city and which has been active for many years. During my childhood I remember that it was the preferred place for families to spend a day different, since in addition to being a Zoo and having different animals on display, it also has a large space with green areas where people have picnics or simply meet to share or have small celebrations with family or friends.
The point is that little by little the park was losing its attractiveness but for some time now they have recovered and improved their spaces, doing the same as before, including new animals and recreational activities for the whole family, which really caught my attention. The last time I went to the zoo was last year, just around Easter and before that I hadn't gone since I was a child, I liked going back there so much that I wanted to do it again and it wasn't until last week that I had the opportunity.
En redes sociales había visto que habrían actividades recreativas para Semana Santa y también que habían incluido un par de animales nuevos, eso por supuesto fue motivo suficiente para mí para ir a visitar el zoológico y en vista de que no logré hacer una reservación en una piscina para estos días ese fue el plan ideal para hacer algo en lugar de quedarnos en casa. Al llegar pagamos nuestra entrada, 6 bs cada uno, un buen precio a mi parecer y luego de estacionarnos comenzamos a hacer nuestro recorrido. Desde la entrada se puede apreciar el buen ambiente, habían muchas personas pero sobretodo niños jugando y corriendo por todo el lugar.
In social networks I had seen that there would be recreational activities for Easter and also that they had included a couple of new animals, that of course was reason enough for me to go visit the zoo and since I could not make a reservation in a swimming pool for these days that was the ideal plan to do something instead of staying at home. Upon arrival we paid our entrance fee, 6 bs each, a good price in my opinion and after parking we began to make our tour. From the entrance you can appreciate the good atmosphere, there were many people but especially children playing and running all over the place.
Lo primero que hicimos fue visitar todas las jaulas para ver los animales y descubrir cuales habían nuevos, las primeras jaulas que encontramos fueron las de los monos y algunas aves, pero además en la parte de afuera habían algunos monos sueltos que jugaban con las personas, se me hizo un poco difícil tomar las fotos en esta parte porque las jaulas son muy cerradas pero de todas formas logré capturar algunas, a continuación les muestro a los monos, tucanes, águilas y gavilanes.
The first thing we did was visit all the cages to see the animals and find out which ones were new, the first cages we found were those of the monkeys and some birds, but also on the outside there were some loose monkeys that played with people, It was a little difficult for me to take the photos in this part because the cages are very closed, but I managed to capture some anyway, below I show you the monkeys, toucans, eagles and hawks.
Cada jaula cuenta con un cartel informativo con el nombre del animal y algunas de sus características, lo cual ayuda a conocerlo si nunca habías visto uno de esos.
Each cage has an informative sign with the name of the animal and some of its characteristics, which helps to get to know it if you have never seen one of those before.
Nos dirigimos a ver el resto de los animales, hay muchas jaulas y corrales en los alrededores, así que hay que caminar para ir viéndolos todos, entre los animales más grandes que vimos fueron los cunaguaros y un jaguar, no sé si es por el encierro o por no estar en su hábitat pero se les veía muy tristes, se movían muy poco, estuvieron mayormente acostados.
We went to see the rest of the animals, there are many cages and pens in the surroundings, so you have to walk to see them all, among the largest animals we saw were cunaguaros and a jaguar, I don't know if it's because of the confinement or because they were not in their habitat but they looked very sad, they moved very little, they were mostly lying down.
Vimos muchos animales comunes y otros no tanto, habían patos, morrocoyes, conejos, loros, guacamayas, pavos reales, terecayas, caimanes, burros, venados, chivos, cerdos y puercoespines, no son animales tan exóticos como los que se verían en un zoológico de cualquier otro país pero los que hay son muy bonitos y parecen estar bien cuidados.
We saw many common animals and others not so much, there were ducks, morrocoyes, rabbits, parrots, macaws, peacocks, terecayas, alligators, donkeys, deer, goats, pigs and porcupines, they are not as exotic animals as those you would see in a zoo from any other country but the ones that exist are very beautiful and seem to be well cared for.
Mis animales favoritos de todo el recorrido fueron las guacamayas, había todo un corral para ellas, ni siquiera una jaula sino un espacio muy grande porque eran muchísimas las que habían, tanto así que desde lejos se escuchaba todo el ruido que hacían juntas, eran de colores pero mayormente azul, muy llamativas y hermosas a la vista, eran de los poco animales que se veían alegres.
My favorite animals of the entire tour were the macaws, there was a whole corral for them, not even a cage but a very large space because there were so many of them, so much so that from afar you could hear all the noise they made together, they were from colors but mostly blue, very striking and beautiful to look at, they were one of the few animals that looked happy.
Unos de los animales nuevos que hay en el zoológico son unos puercoespines, solo los había visto en películas hasta ahora, me parecieron animales interesantes, los vi muy de cerca y pude apreciar sus espinas, se veían muy filosas pero ellos estaban muy tranquilos, me recordaron a los perezosos porque se movían muy lento, justo cuando estábamos allí llegó uno de los encargados y les colocó un plato con frutas e incluso para comer lo hacían con mucha paciencia.
Some of the new animals in the zoo are porcupines, I had only seen them in movies so far, they seemed interesting animals, I saw them up close and I could appreciate their spines, they looked very sharp but they were very calm, I They remembered the sloths because they moved very slowly, just when we were there one of the attendants arrived and placed a plate with fruit for them and even when eating they did it with a lot of patience.
Luego de ver todos los animales comenzamos a pasear por el resto de las instalaciones y a medida que íbamos caminando veíamos mucha gente alegre, todos se estaban divirtiendo, los niños jugaban en los columpios, otro volaban papagayos y otros participaban en las actividades recreativas que habían en el momento, habían también muchos vendedores ambulantes con gran variedad de artículos, helados, dulces, obleas, refrescos, jugos, pelotas, gorras, sombreros, y mucho más.
After seeing all the animals we began to walk through the rest of the facilities and as we walked we saw many happy people, everyone was having fun, the children played on the swings, another flew parrots and others participated in the recreational activities that were in At the time, there were also many street vendors with a wide variety of items, ice creams, sweets, wafers, soft drinks, juices, balls, caps, hats, and much more.
Caminamos por los alrededores de la laguna, que por cierto es grande y con muchos árboles cerca que dan sombra, allí aprovechamos de tomar unas fotos porque esa parte es realmente hermosa.
We walked around the lagoon, which by the way is large and with many trees nearby that provide shade, we took advantage of taking some photos there because that part is really beautiful.
La parte final del recorrido fue una enorme piscina que hay en el parque la cual tiene como función ser el espacio para paseos en bote, aún no he tenido la oportunidad de dar uno de esos paseos pero me encantaría poder hacerlo en algún momento, por ahora solo disfrutamos de la vista y de sacar unas fotos con ese hermoso fondo.
The final part of the tour was a huge pool that is in the park which has the function of being a space for boat rides, I have not yet had the opportunity to take one of those rides but I would love to be able to do it at some point, for now We just enjoyed the view and taking some photos with that beautiful background.
Luego de poco más de una hora caminando por todo el parque decidimos irnos, hacía mucho calor y ya habíamos visto todos los animales y todas las instalaciones, nos divertimos mucho y lo más importante fue que al menos no nos quedamos en casa aburridos, ahora espero volver pronto al zoológico y dar ese paseo en bote que tanto quiero.
After just over an hour walking around the park we decided to leave, it was very hot and we had already seen all the animals and all the facilities, we had a lot of fun and the most important thing was that at least we didn't stay at home bored, now I hope go back to the zoo soon and take that boat ride that I love so much.
