En la calle 11 entre 20 y 22 en el Vedado, vive un barbero con más de 90 años de edad que sigue con su oficio incluso después de jubilado.

On 11th street between 20 and 22 in Vedado lives a barber with more than 90 years old who continues with his trade even after retirement.
Su nombre es Ricardo, pero todos lo conocen por PAPI. Cuentan los vecinos que en 1990 cuando se jubila y comienza a cortar el cabello en su casa, sus hijos pequeños le decían papi, ahí viene uno, papi tienes cola y así, los propios vecinos le fueron llamando con ese apodo.
Su expresión es algo seria y de poco hablar muy meticuloso en su trabajo donde comienza con la maquina eléctrica, luego las tijeras y termina con el afeitado con navaja, pero lo más llamativo que este hombre nonagenario no usa espejuelos y tiene un pulso digno de envidiar.
En el piso de su sala se ven las huellas gastadas de su andar por más de 30 años y cuando termina te dice una pequeña frase: ¡A buscar mujeres!

Otra de sus características es el cobro tan barato de su trabajo, solo citar que en el 2010 cuando el corte de cabello costaba 50 pesos el solo cobraba 10, un tiempo después lo subió a 20 cuando todos los barberos cobraban 100 y en la actualidad cobra 50 y en cualquier barbería te pueden cobrar 300 y más.
