Mujeres emprendedoras.
There is no doubt that women are born entrepreneurs. Some time ago I saw some statistical data, I don't remember where, that showed that at a financial level, women are more careful than men when it comes to investing. They are more cautious, men tend to be driven by impulses. I don't know if this is true, but what I am sure of is that women are great entrepreneurs.
A day ago a bazaar or expo, whatever you want to call it, was held in Barquisimeto, organized by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs. This association maintains an active training program for women, to encourage them to create business models, projects, enterprises, which strengthen them personally and professionally, making an effective work of true female empowerment.
The activity lasted one day, from early in the morning until four o'clock in the afternoon. The headquarters of the College of Engineers of the State of Lara, was the place where a small market was set up, with stands where the different enterprises were exhibited.
No hay duda de que las mujeres son emprendedoras natas. Hace tiempo vi unos datos estadísticos, no recuerdo dónde, que demostraban que a nivel financiero, las mujeres son más cuidadosas que los hombres a la hora de invertir. Son más precavidas, , los hombres suelen dejarse llevar por los impulsos. No sé si esto es cierto, pero de lo que estoy seguro es de que las mujeres son grandes emprendedoras.
Hace un día se realizó en Barquisimeto un bazar o expo, como quieran llamarlo, organizado por la Asociación de Mujeres Emprendedoras. Esta asociación mantiene activo un programa de formación de mujeres, para incentivarlas a crear modelos de negocios, proyectos, emprendimientos, que las fortalezcan personal y profesionalmente, haciendo una labor efectiva de verdadero empoderamiento femenino.
La actividad duró un día, desde primera hora de la mañana hasta las cuatro de la tarde. La sede del Colegio de Ingenieros del Estado Lara, fue el lugar donde se montó un pequeño mercado, con stands donde se exhibieron los diferentes emprendimientos.

Clothing, accessories, make-up, jewelry, sweets, cookies, training services, health, etc. The stands were very varied. Products and services of women who, in the midst of the economic crisis, have managed to move forward with their projects. In difficult times you have to be able to detect the opportunities that arise.
During the Christmas season many expos, fairs and bazaars are organized, where small co-merchants have the opportunity to make their brands and ventures known. In the city of Barquisimeto, that same day a mega fair was being held in the tourist complex El Obelisco, and another expo bazaar in a renowned shopping mall.
Ropa, accesorios, maquillaje, joyería, dulces, galletas, servicios de formación, salud, etc. Los stands eran muy variados. Productos y servicios de mujeres que, en plena crisis económica, han conseguido sacar adelante sus proyectos. En tiempos difíciles hay que tener la capacidad de detectar las oportunidades que surgen.
Durante la temporada navideña se organizan muchas expos, ferias, bazares, donde los pequeños co-merciantes tienen la oportunidad de dar a conocer sus marcas y emprendimientos. En la ciudad de Barquisimeto, ese mismo día se estaba realizando una mega feria en el complejo turístico El Obelisco, y otra expo bazar en un reconocido centro comercial.
Several stands caught my attention. One of them was Carei Cakes, where they sell handmade sweets, cakes, cookies, both for retail and for celebrations or special events. Unfortunately I was not able to try anything they had. It is at these times when I feel bad about not being able to eat certain foods.
Another venture I liked was Roselyn Castro's, which offers an effective nutrition program in consultation with a naturopathic doctor. Her business model is called Healing and Educating. For people like me, who have to follow a controlled diet for health reasons, it is very useful. I suggest not skimping on expenses that are for physical or mental health.
Varios puestos llamaron mi atención. Uno de ellos era Carei Cakes, donde venden dulces artesanales, pasteles, galletas, tanto para la venta al por menor como para celebraciones o eventos especiales. Lamentablemente no pude probar nada de lo que tenían. Es en estos momentos cuando me siento mal por no poder comer ciertos alimentos.
Otro emprendimiento que me gustó fue la de Roselyn Castro, que ofrece un eficaz programa de nutrición en consulta con un médico naturópata. Su modelo de negocio se llama Sanado y Educando. Para gente como yo, que tiene que llevar una dieta controlada por motivos de salud, es muy útil. Sugiero no escatimes en gastos que son para la salud física o mental.

Thanks to this Expo I got to know the PABII Academy, which has an educational program to train businessmen, professionals and entrepreneurs. They even have a course on Binance, to teach how to use it. I had a brief conversation with the lady who was at the booth and we agreed that there is a need for more dissemination of the benefits of cryptocurrencies and for their use to be adopted by more people and companies. They were the only ones who had something related to cryptocurrencies. Little by little
Fashion was also present at the expo with some designers, in my tour I could see some designer ventures, such as Confecciones Dimar by May Duran and also the stand of Guayavella, the brand of a designer that I had seen and heard in some fashion shows in the city. I am sure that many of them will be very relevant in the future as I have seen in the past, designers who were building their brand and are now very recognized.
Gracias a esta Expo conocí la Academia PABII, que tiene un programa educativo para formar a empresarios, profesionales y emprendedores. Incluso tienen un curso sobre Binance, para enseñar a usarlo. Tuve una breve conversación con la señora que estaba en el stand y coincidimos en que hace falta más difusión de los beneficios de las criptomonedas y que su uso sea adoptado por más personas y empresas. Eran los únicos que tenían algo relacionado con las criptomonedas. Poco a poco
La moda también estuvo presente en la expo con algunos diseñadores, en mi recorrido pude ver algunos emprendimientos de diseñadores, como Confecciones Dimar de May Duran y también el stand de Guayavella, la marca de un diseñador que había visto y escuchado en algunos desfiles de moda en la ciudad. Estoy seguro que muchos de ellos serán muy relevantes en el futuro como he visto en el pasado, diseñadores que fueron construyendo su marca y ahora son muy reconocidos.

I couldn't make it in time for one of the talks, on Entrepreneurship and Legality. There were other talks scheduled throughout the day, but I had other things to do. I couldn't stay long.
The Association organizing the event presented awards to the women who had completed the training program. They were all very happy to receive their certificates. There were also raffles among the attendees. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I like these initiatives and the support for small businesswomen. I will keep an eye out for the next events organized by this organization, this is the fourth edition of the women entrepreneurs expo and I am sure that the next edition will be better.

No pude llegar a tiempo para una de las charlas, sobre Iniciativa Empresarial y Legalidad. Había otras charlas programadas a lo largo del día, pero yo tenía otras cosas que hacer. No pude quedarme mucho tiempo.
La Asociación organizadora del evento entregó premios a las mujeres que habían completado el programa de formación. Todas estaban muy contentas de recibir sus certificados. También hubo sorteos entre las asistentes. El ambiente era muy agradable. Me gustan estas iniciativas y el apoyo a las pequeñas empresarias. Estaré atenta a los próximos eventos que organice esta organización, esta es la cuarta edición de la expo mujeres empresarias y seguro que la próxima edición será mejor.
