Desde hace ya varios años mis ganas de aprender otro idioma se han hecho más grandes, desde siempre he estado interesada en esa área, pero nunca le dí como la oportunidad, hasta que hace más o menos 3 años cursé mi primer curso de inglés, pero por factores económicos no pude continuar, así que tuve que detener esa etapa.
For about several years now my desire to learn another language has been growing, I have always been interested in this area, but I never gave it a chance, until about 3 years ago I took my first English course, but due to economic factors I could not continue, so I had to stop that stage.
📚 Mis inicios | My begginings
Retomé esa meta dos años después, y estaba muy entusiasmada, me planteé la idea de aprenderlo sola ya que muchos recursos no estaban a mi alcance y costear otro curso se me hacía imposible. Así que empecé mi primera experiencia autodidacta y no terminó bien jajajaj, empecé a buscar en youtube y me topé con muchas personas políglotas que habían aprendido de manera autodidacta y empecé a seguir sus consejos.
I resumed that goal two years later, and I was very excited, I thought about the idea of learning it alone since many resources were not within my reach and paying for another course was impossible for me. So I started my first self-taught experience and it didn't end well hahahahah, I started to search on youtube and I came across many polyglot people who had learned in a self-taught way and I started to follow their advice.

Pero todo me terminó sobrepasando y ya no sabía ni por dónde empezar, porque evidentemente todos hablaban desde sus propias experiencias y de los recursos a los que tenían acceso, y yo ni siquiera sabía por dónde empezar a buscar información, así que lo abandoné y me dediqué a trabajar y a estudiar.
But everything ended up overtaking me and I didn't even know where to start, because evidently everyone was talking about their own experiences and the resources they had access to, and I didn't even know where to start looking for information, so I abandoned it and dedicated myself to work and study.

📒 Disciplina y constancia | Discipline and perseverance
Llega nuevamente la motivación a principios de este año y las ganas de cumplir esa meta, por lo que decidí abordar mi aprendizaje desde otra dirección, primero me tocó aceptar que no todos aprendemos tan rápido y que a veces necesitamos un poco más de tiempo que otros, (pero eso no tiene que desanimarme), segundo, entender que la ilusión y la motivación dura muy poco si no pongo en práctica el valor fundamental para hacer cualquier cosa en mi vida y ese es: La Disciplina.
Motivation came again at the beginning of this year and the desire to achieve that goal, so I decided to approach my learning from another direction, first I had to accept that not all learn so fast and that sometimes we need a little more time than others, (but that does not have to discourage me), second, understand that the illusion and motivation lasts very little if I do not put into practice the fundamental value to do anything in my life and that is: Discipline.
Sin constancia ni disciplina las posibilidades de alcanzar mis metas son nulas, y no les mentiré, hay momentos en los que siento que no voy a ningún lado, que no estoy aprendiendo lo suficiente, que no entiendo el idioma lo suficiente, hay días que quiero soltar la toalla porque siento que no seré capaz de alcanzar por lo menos un nivel C-1 y pare de contar.
Without consistency and discipline the chances of reaching my goals are nil, and I won't lie to you, there are times when I feel like I'm not going anywhere, that I'm not learning enough, that I don't understand the language well enough, there are days when I want to throw in the towel because I feel like I won't be able to reach at least a C-1 level and I'm not going to stop counting.

💪 "Mas hace el que quiere que el que puede" | "He who is willing does more than he who is able."
Pero pese a ello, he estado siguiendo diariamente mi plan de estudio (tengo que cambiarlo mensualmente), y dentro de poco tengo que hacer una prueba para saber en qué nivel de inglés estoy, pero me da un poco de nervios si los resultados son muy bajos jajajaj, y es que uno de mis defectos es que soy impaciente, por lo que todo lo quiero para ayer, así que estoy tratando de cumplir objetivos que llevan su tiempo para que esa deficiencia se convierta más bien en una fortaleza.
But despite this, I have been following my study plan daily (I have to change it monthly), and soon I have to take a test to know what level of English I am, but it makes me a little nervous if the results are too low hahahahahah, and is that one of my flaws is that I am impatient, so I want everything yesterday, so I'm trying to meet goals that take time so that this deficiency becomes rather a strength.
Lo genial del internet es que hay demasiados recursos y muchos canales que te ayudan en todo ese proceso, actualmente adapto todo lo que escucho y leo a mi nivel y a mí alcance y ya no me apego a tratar de seguir métodos que favorecieron a otras personas pero que a mí no me van para nada.
The great thing about the internet is that there are too many resources and many channels that help you in the whole process, nowadays I adapt everything I hear and read to my level and to my reach and I am no longer attached to try to follow methods that favored other people but that do not suit me at all.
Aprender un idioma siempre será difícil y más si no nos encontramos en el país de origen, pero creo que cada uno de nosotros tiene el potencial para hacerlo, así que esto amigos ha sido un poco de mi experiencia, si quisieran ver algunas recomendaciones de recursos, canales o incluso páginas para empezar en su proceso pueden dejarlo en los comentarios y haré un post especial 😌.
Learning a language will always be difficult and more if we are not in the country of origin, but I believe that each of us has the potential to do it, so this friends has been a bit of my experience, if you would like to see some recommendations of resources, channels or even pages to start in your process you can leave it in the comments and I will make a special post 😌.
