Ayer fue un día de esos donde realmente no tenía muchas ganas de salir y tampoco tenía planeado hacerlo, pero mi mamá me propuso pegarnos una escapadita al centro comercial para pasar una tarde de chicas, por lo que no pude negarme ya que hace tiempo no tengo una salida de este tipo con mi mamá donde compartimos un café y nos ponemos a hablar de todo un poquito. Así que me dispuse a bañar y arreglarme para luego dirigirnos hacía nuestro destino.
Yesterday was one of those days where I didn't really feel like going out and I didn't plan to do it either, but my mom proposed me to go to the mall to spend a girl's afternoon, so I couldn't refuse since I haven't had an outing of this kind with my mom for a long time, where we share a coffee and talk about everything a little bit. So I got ready to take a bath and get ready and then we headed to our destination.
Nuestra idea principal era ir a tomar un café al Juan Valdez del centro comercial único pero al llegar vimos que estaba demasiado lleno (y eso que era Martes) Así que caminando un poco más adelante nos encontramos con Mr bono, encontramos una mesa vacía y aprovechamos para sentarnos. Al parecer mi mamá había invitado a una amiga que recién había llegado de Mexico por lo que mientras esperábamos que llegara nos pusieron a hablar y ver el menú en la pantalla.
Por lo general cada vez que vamos a este establecimiento pedimos café y bueno era nuestra idea principal, pero esta vez vimos que había una opción nueva y digo nueva ya que nunca antes la habíamos visto, se trataba de chocolate caliente con leche; nos llamó muchísimo la atención por lo que nos fuimos por esa opción.
Our main idea was to go for a coffee at the Juan Valdez in the unique mall but when we arrived we saw that it was too crowded (and it was Tuesday) so walking a little further ahead we found Mr. bono, found an empty table and took the opportunity to sit down. Apparently my mom had invited a friend who had just arrived from Mexico so while we waited for her to arrive we started talking and looking at the menu on the screen.
Usually every time we go to this establishment we order coffee and well that was our main idea, but this time we saw that there was a new option and I say new because we had never seen it before, it was hot chocolate with milk; it caught our attention so we went for that option.
Habían un montón de opciones para acompañar esta bebida caliente, pero nosotras nos fuimos por el tradicional pan de bono; estaba recién salido del horno por lo que el calientico hacía que su textura y sabor estuviera más rico aún y ni hablar del chocolate, quedé enamorada de esta opción de Mr bono se sentía espesito pero no pesado, un chocolate suave y sin necesidad de añadirle azúcar ya que por si el chocolate estaba dulcecito.
There were a lot of options to accompany this hot drink, but we went for the traditional pan de bono; it was fresh out of the oven so the warmth made its texture and flavor even richer and not to mention the chocolate, I fell in love with this Mr. bono option, it felt thick but not heavy, a smooth chocolate and no need to add sugar since the chocolate itself was sweet.
Mientras disfrutábamos de nuestra merienda y de la tarde, conversamos sobre el viaje de la amiga de mi mamá, sobre la cultura Mexicana y demás; yo estaba encantada escuchando la historia y viendo las fotos, al final decidimos dar una vuelta por el centro comercial ya que estaba lleno de ofertas por todos lados, habían cosas muy bonitas pero como dirían por ahí solo pasamos a distraer la vista jajaja.
While we enjoyed our snack and the afternoon, we talked about the trip of my mom's friend, about the Mexican culture and so on; I was delighted listening to the story and seeing the pictures, at the end we decided to take a walk around the mall as it was full of offers everywhere, there were very nice things but as they would say we just stopped by to distract the view hahaha.
Y bueno así fue mi inesperada tarde de Martes, a pesar de que no tenía muchas ganas de salir la verdad es que la pasamos muy bien, pude distraerme un rato y compartir con mi mamá y su amiga que de hecho me cae muy bien; muchas gracias por llegar hasta el final, hasta la próxima. Un abrazo ❤️
