It's been a bit of a hectic few days so I didn't get a chance to pen down some time to make an entry til now. I really think that its important to find distractions at this time, especially with all thats going on these days.

I'm low key freaking out at how calm everyone seems to be while everything is going to shit. So in the spirit of trying to remain postive despite all the losses we're facing I'm making a less bitchy post thanks to @yourtop3 lol.

Pretty dope topic this month, but a not easy. Picking my top 3 lead singers is a tough one, but here's my shot at it.

Chester Bennington

My Reasons for the Nomination

Chester was the lead vocalist for Linkin Park and also provided lead vocalist for the bands Grey Daze and Dead by Sunrise which were side projects to what brought him household recognition.

He had been through so much and was also fighting depression but his music touched so many people. If anyone could some up teenage angst growing up in the early 2000's then it was this guy.

Nomination Number Two

Dave Grohl

My Reasons for the Nomination

He is known for being the longest-serving drummer for the rock band Nirvana and the founder of Foo Fighters. He really subverts the of a lead singer of a band and is known as the undisputed "nicest guy in rock." It doesn't matter whose name you try and pin to that label, because Grohl will out-nice them every time.

His done awesome things for fans like having free concerts and his just a all round gent, and also makes great music.

Anthony Kiedis

My Reasons for the Nomination

Anthony Kiedis is an American singer, songwriter and rapper. He is best known as a founding member and the lead vocalist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I've loved their music for years but what really put him in my top 3 would have to be after reading his book Scar Tissue which was such an eye opener about what life is like in the rock scene and the public eye.
