I introduce myself to you , it will be quick , I am an 18 year old boy born in #Venezuela , here in my country there are many legends , myths that have passed from generation to generation , coming to thrill all who hear them and this is the case today.
I want to share with you all a great legend not only of Venezuela but of the state where I live , I am from Venezuela , Merida State , and here is the legend of today so I hope you like it.
Legend of the 5 White Eagles
This legend originates in the Picos or snowy mountains of the state of Merida in #Venezuela Legend has it that many years ago was born the first of the women of the Mirripuyes, whose name was Caribay, which by the way is a very pretty name,
Caribay was the daughter of the Sun, Zuhé, and the Moon, Chía. It is said that she had the most beautiful singing voice in the whole world and that she had the ability to imitate any bird. He tried to follow them in order to have their hairy plumage since the feathers of these birds were very beautiful and shone with the reflection of the sun. He chased the birds up into the mountains, reaching the highest peaks of the Meridian Peaks.
But upon reaching the top of the mountains the five white eagles were lost in the thick mist of the peak, so Caribay a little sad for not being able to have this beautiful plumage, decided to sing to invoke Chia (The Moon) to sing and invoke the moon immediately became dark and Chia illuminated the mountains with its splendor,
It is also said that Caribay's song impressed the animals including the five eagles, so much so that the five white eagles upon hearing such a beautiful song decided to lower their flight until each one landed on a different crag on the same mountain, that is to say, each one of the eagles stopped on a peak.
Caribay tried to touch one of the eagles that was closest to her but when she tried to touch them to remove one of their feathers she realized that the eagles were frozen , Caribay felt guilty and thought it was her fault , that the eagles were frozen because she touched them , so she became very sad and went down the mountains crying ,
Caribay's crying saddened Chia and the moon stopped illuminating the forest , and by doing that the ice that had frozen the eagles melted making the eagles free again , but the eagles were furious so they shook their big white Plumage so hard to fly that it scattered their white feathers all over the 5 Peaks or crags where they were standing ,
Caribai saw that the eagles were so furious that she ran to hide because she thought that the eagles would chase her for touching them, but a while later Caribai realized that the eagles were no longer heard and that everything was calmer so she came out of her hiding place and saw that the five peaks where the eagles were standing were covered in white and that the weather was a little cold, and it is there where he realizes that the white color that covers the mountains are the feathers of the great white Eagles, and that the cold weather and the cool winds are the sounds or squawks of the great birds that left a cold breath in the place.
A very nice legend that deals with the creation of the Merida Peaks, of course it is clear that in reality this is not the formation of these mountains, to a scientific point has its climatic explanation but are legends that are carried in the Venezuelan heart, and it is a pleasure to share it with all of you.

Quiero compartir con todos ustedes una Gran leyenda no solo de Venezuela si no del estado en el que vivo , Soy de Venezuela Estado Merida , y de acá es la leyenda de hoy así que espero les guste
Leyenda de las 5 Águilas Blancas
Esta leyanda se origina en los Picos o montañas nevadas de El estado Merida en #Venezuela Cuenta la Leyenda que hace muchos años nació la primera de las mujeres de los mirripuyes, que tenia como nombre Caribay , que por cierto es un nombre muy lindo ,
Caribay era Hija de Sol, Zuhé, y la Luna, Chía, se dice que tenia la voz mas linda del todo el mundo para cantar y que tenia la capacidad imitar cualquier ave. un día mientras Caribay estaba Paseando por el bosque Merideño entre montañas Nevadas vio en el cielo cinco grandes águilas blancas de hermoso plumaje. Intento seguirlas para poder tener su vello plumaje ya que las plumas de estas aves eran muy linda y Brillavan con el reflejo del sol . Persiguió a las aves hasta las montañas, llegando así a lo mas alto de los Picos merideños
Pero al llegar a lo mas alto de las montañas las cinco águilas blancas se perdieron entre la espesa neblina del pico , así que caribay un poco triste por no poder Tener este hermoso plumaje , decidió cantar para invocar a Chia { La Luna } al cantar e invocar a la luna de inmediato se torno oscuro y Chia ilumino las montañas con su esplendor ,
Tanbien se dice que el canto de Caribay impresionó a los animales incluyendo a las cinco águilas, tanto así que las cinco águilas blancas al escuchar tan vello canto decidieron bajar su vuelo hasta posar cada una en un Risco distinto de una misma montaña es decir cada una de las águilas se para en un Pico
Caribay intento tocar una de las Águilas que estaba mas cerca de ella pero al intentar tocarlas para quitarle una de sus Plumas se da cuneta de que las Águilas estaban Congeladas , Caribay se sintió culpable y pensó que era su culpa , que las águilas se congelaron por que ella la toco , así que se puso muy triste y bajo las montañas llorando ,
El llanto de Caribay entristeció a Chia y la luna dejo de iluminar el bosque , y al hacer eso el hielo que tenia congeladas a las águilas se derritió haciendo que las águilas quedaran libres nuevamente , pero las águilas estaban furiosas así que sacudieron sus grandes Plumajes blancos con tanta fuerza para volar que esparció sus plumas blancas por los 5 Picos o riscos en los que ellas estaban paradas ,
Caribai al ver que las águilas estaban Tan Furiosas corrió para esconderse ya que pensaba que las águilas la perseguirían por Tocarlas , pero un rato mas tarde caribay se da cuenta de que las Águilas ya no se escuchan y que todo esta mas calmado así que sale de su escondite y ve que los 5 Riscos o picos en los que las Águilas estaban paradas están Cubiertos de un color Blanco y que el clima es un poco frió , y es hay donde se da cuneta que el color blanco que cubre las montañas son las plumas de las Grades Águilas blancas , y que el Frió del Clima y los Vientos frescos son los Sonidos o graznidos de las grandes aves que dejaron un Aliento Frió en el lugar
Una leyenda muy linda que trata sobre la creación de los Picos Merideños , claro esta de que en realidad así no es la formación de estas montañas , a un punto científico tiene su explicación climática pero son leyendas que se llevan en el Corazón Venezolano , y es un gusto poder compartirla con todos ustedes
