Por lo tanto me uno a esta linda iniciativa en la cual recibi la invitación de la amiga @giocondina paso a invitar a mis amigos, @lecumberre, @lisfabian ,@sacra97, @josebenavente.
Hello my beautiful people of this great community @hivevenezuela is a pleasure for me to honor and pay tribute to a companion of Venezuelan cuisine as is the arepa. Therefore I join this beautiful initiative in which I received the invitation of the friend @giocondina step to invite my friends, @lecumberre, @lisfabian, @sacra97, @josebenavente.
Desde que tengo uso de razón por los siglos de los siglos conozco a la arepa como conocerme a mi misma, diariamente consumo arepas inclusive hay días que la como tres veces al día como desayuno almuerzo y cena. Nunca me he aburrido de comerla, siempre es importante ponerle un buen relleno o acompañante para hacerla mas especial. Hasta solita la como y si es frita mejor.
For as long as I can remember I have known the arepa like I know myself, I eat arepas daily, there are even days when I eat them three times a day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have never been bored of eating it, it is always important to put a good filling or a side dish to make it more special. I even eat it alone and if it's fried, it's even better.
Mis 10 cosas sobre la arepa//My 10 Things About Arepas
1.- Es el ingrediente principal para acompañar las comidas en casa ya sea con tortilla de huevos, chorizo, huevos fritos, etc.
1.- It is the main ingredient to accompany meals at home, either with omelettes, chorizo, fried eggs, etc.
2.- Prefiero la arepa con un pescado frito ensalada y plátano frito.
2.- I prefer the arepa with a fried fish, salad and fried plantain.
3.- En algunas ocasiones hago mis meriendas con arepa frita y le agrego a la masa anis chiquito, azúcar, sal y un toque de harina de trigo, quedando de un bueno.
3.- Sometimes I make my snacks with fried arepa and I add anisette, sugar, salt and a touch of wheat flour to the dough, which is very good.
4.-Nunca me aburre no la traiciono le doy mucha variedad a la hora de prepararla le agrego zanahoria, remolacha, acelgas, cualquier vegetal y quedan diferentes.

5.-Si le agrego ajonjolí, avena, nueces, etc les da un toque diferente.

6.-Y si les hablo de las arepas de maíz pilado, hechas a las brasas, son mis preferidas, como cumanesa es tradicional siempre comer esta variedad de arepa pilada con pedazo de pescado frito salado o metido en huevo.

7.-Si le agrego a la masa leche, queso rallado y un toque de dulce, y luego a freir con bastante aceite me enloquece esta combinación.

8.- La mantequilla no le puede faltar, sino hay mas que agregar excelente acompañante la mantequilla.

9.-En mi casa las preparamos de diferentes maneras: asadas, fritas, al horno.

10.-En fin me la como como me la pongan con cualquier relleno me la como, si es con pollo guisado en forma esmechada waoooo una delicia.

La arepa representa al venezolano y a todos los venezolanos que se encuentran distribuidos por todo el mundo, Todos los venezolanos conocemos muy bien la arepa y sabemos preparar muchas recetas con ella. Es la reina de la cocina venezolana. Tantas cosas que puedo decir de la arepa, que creo que no terminaría nunca de hablar de ella.
The arepa represents the Venezuelan and all Venezuelans around the world. All Venezuelans know the arepa very well and know how to prepare many recipes with it. It is the queen of Venezuelan cuisine. There are so many things I can say about the arepa, that I think I would never finish talking about it.
