Vienna is a monumental city. The former capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire is today a city steeped in history and with a frenetic cultural activity, including classical music, of which it can be said to be the world capital of this art.
Although it suffered a period of decline between the mid-19th and late 20th centuries, it has now recovered its brilliance and is one of Europe's most visitor-friendly cities.
Flying over Vienna is no easy task. Due to permit and weather issues, the pre-flight process is quite complicated. In this case, thanks to a book publisher who needed several images of the city, we were able to coordinate everything necessary to make the flight.
I leave you with this first part of the report, where you can see the historic centre with St. Stephen's Cathedral, the opera house and the different museums, The Belvedere Palace and its gardens with the Danube River as the backbone of the city.

Viena es una ciudad monumental. La antigua capital del imperio austrohungaro es hoy una ciudad cargada de historia y con una actividad cultural frenética, entre la que hay que destacar la música clásica, de la que se puede decir que es la capital mundial de este arte.
Aunque entre la mitad del XIX y la última parte del XX sufrió una época de decadencia, actualmente ha recuperado su brillantez y es una de las ciudades europeas más agradables para el visitante.
Volar sobre Viena no es tarea fácil. Por cuestiones de permisos y de clima, el proceso anterior al vuelo es bastante complicado. En este caso, gracias a un editor de libros que necesitaba varias imágenes de la ciudad, pudimos coordinar todo lo necesario para hacer el vuelo.
Os dejo con esta primera parte del reportaje, donde se puede el centro histórico en el que destacan la catedral de San Esteban, el teatro de la opera, los diferentes museos, el palacio y los jardines de Belvedere todo ello con el Río Danubio como hilo vertebrador de la ciudad.
