Esta es una excelente pregunta que me hubiese gustado aprender en mis comienzos, pero hoy tomo los recaudos para volar mi Dron y seguramente te pueden ser de mucha ayuda.

Lo primero que tengo en cuenta son las cargas de las baterías, es fundamental, y para todo esto también existen varias recomendaciones. Verifico que tanto las baterías como el RC tenga carga completa, aprovecho a decir que cuando reemplazo una batería del Dron no la guardo inmediatamente, espero que se enfríe. De la misma manera es cuando se cargan, deben no deben estas caliente para su carga. Si bien funcionan igual, pero su vida útil se acorta mucho mas.

En el caso del DJI MINI 2 cada tanto tiempo trato de agotarlas totalmente, pero en el caso del SPARK que tiene batría de litio le hacía una descarga completa para nivelar las celdas, es muy importante para el mejor rendimiento del vuelo.

Después que está todo listo y estoy en el lugar de vuelo, busco un lugar con espacio aéreo despejado ¿Por que? esto es porque antes de despegar espero a que se grabe la posición de RTH, es decir el lugar donde la aeronave regresará ante cualquier inconveniente u orden. Trato que la superficie de despegue esté limpia y sea plana. Cuando consigo altura suficiente observo mediante la imagen de la pantalla un paneo de 360° para ver si hay antenas o algo que obstruya el vuelo.

Algo que también lo realizo como protocolo de despegue es que verifico la dirección y velocidad del viento y si estoy volando en zona restringida, esto es de VITAL importancia ¿Por que?, Conocer la dirección y velocidad del viento puede evitar un accidente o la pérdida del Dron ya que calcula la carga de batería en función de la distancia y tiempo de vuelo tomando también en cuenta el modo de vuelo, si volamos una determinada distancia con viento a favor y calculamos según la App del Dron estoy seguro que no llegaremos nuevamente al origen porque de regreso tendremos viento en contra, acá también tengo en cuenta el alerta de batería baja y yo lo tengo configurado en 20% para mayor seguridad.

Otras recomendaciones a tener en cuenta serían tener cuidado de volar entre objetos, árboles o personas. También hay que tener cuidado y prestar atención a los sensores cuando volamos sobre el agua sobretodo en horarios a mitad del día donde el sol está en posición perpendicular a la superficie, el reflejo engaña a los sensores de aterrizaje.
