Old boiler room

Hello, friends!
Winter continues in Siberia, and this is not the best time for drone flights. Firstly, it’s cold and the quadcopter’s battery runs out much faster than in summer, and secondly, everything around is gray and the photos turn out monotonous and boring. But, in order not to lose my drone control skills, I still decided to fly a little. An old boiler house on the outskirts of the city was chosen for filming.

Once upon a time, this boiler house provided heat and hot water to the nearest urban areas, but then all heating networks were connected to a powerful thermal power plant, and this boiler house was no longer needed.

The boiler house building itself has almost been dismantled and only a tall brick chimney reminds of the former purpose of this facility.

As I already said, in winter it is bad to photograph with a drone, not only because of the frost, but also because the smog that envelops the city greatly reduces visibility. My city is located in a basin between mountains and in the cold season, smoke and smog accumulate in it in calm weather, forming a gray veil.

Behind the old boiler room there is a pine forest. There are many paths in the forest along which city dwellers walk, wanting to breathe fresh air and communicate with nature.

Squirrels live in the forest, and the bravest of the squirrels live at the very edge of the forest, closer to the city, in order to be the first to meet people and demand delicacies from them.

There are many feeders in the forest and people constantly pour seeds and nuts into them, to the delight of squirrels and birds.
