Saludos me pareció muy interesante esto de dar una opinión y reflexión personal sobre un tema tan polémico como la religión, desde que nací hasta el día de hoy soy católico , aunque soy poco practicante y escasamente voy a misa, vivo en una ciudad, en Caracas desde hace 39 años, he notado el cambio que ha sufrido la sociedad de practicar el catolicismo a adoptar diversas variantes del cristianismo, el auge de las religiones o prácticas yorubas, las creencias de raíces hindúes, asiáticas, nueva era, paganas y nuestros queridos ateos....
Los cultos y religiones han estado con nosotros desde tiempos inmemorables, y han formado parte de nuestro desarrollo como humanos, aunque muchas personas en la actualidad hablan mal de las religiones, estás han logrado unir a las sociedades o grupos humanos en una creencia que permitían un orden y una sensación más intensa de comunidad, incluso era un impulso motivacional para unir esfuerzos para construir grandes obras o para sacar fuerzas ante las adversidad...

Cómo la religión está conectada con lo espiritual, lo elevado, lo magnífico, ha servido a lo largo de la historia para inspirar grandes obras artísticas y arquitectónicas, recordemos el Templo de Salomón, la Capilla Sixtina, las pirámides de Egipto, los templos hindúes, las Mezquitas, las estatuas o esculturas de Buda, etc.... Ha fomentado poderosamente el desarrollo y el avance del arte, arquitectura y construcción, que para mí es bastante significativo...
Pero todo tiene su dualidad, las religiones también tienen su lado negativo, a lo largo de los tiempos, por ejemplo se han dado luchas, persecuciones y hasta guerras por motivos religiosos; se ha usado para manipular y sacar provecho de los pueblos, el vulnerar las libertades individuales y de pensamiento; borrar los rastros de culturas y conocimientos ancestrales, detenido incluso el avance científico cuando este comprometía una norma o creencia religiosa, etc....
Para las personas en la actualidad el pertenecer a una religión específica les da un norte, un código de moral, un grupo de apoyo, una comunidad, enseñanzas que pueden ser útiles para su vida cotidiana y sobretodo esperanzas para su vida y para la vida después de la vida... Yo soy muy crítico a las personas que se aferran fielmente a una religión y pienso que se pierden mucho de las cosas buenas que le ofrece el mundo en su amplias opciones a nivel espiritual, pero también hay que pensar que estos métodos quizás riguidos o anticuados para algunos, son los que a estás personas les puede funcionar o les ha funcionado, hay que recordar que todos estamos en la búsqueda y no hay que juzgar.
De mi parte soy de los que piensan que en la actualidad no hay que aferrarse a ninguna religión, que hay que buscar una consciencia espiritual más elevada, aprendiendo de las antiguas culturas y Maestros y sabios, que tenían una gran conexión con los asuntos de la tierra, los cielos y los distintos seres físicos y espirituales que nos rodean, la vida, etc, todo esto sin fanatismo, dándole cabida también a la duda, porque la duda nos ayuda a buscar la verdad, sin obsesión, sin aislarnos, dándole el respeto e importancia a nuestra vida personal, familiar, social y profesional, se puede vivir la búsqueda espiritual sin dañarte ni dañar a los demás, por favor si estás en algún culto o creencia que daña o desequilibra tu vida y salud, estás en el lugar equivocado, porque si Dios o los dioses existen desean tu bienestar y desarrollo, por alguna razón Jesús el Cristo llama a Dios Padre y nos enseñó a orar, también otras religiones y creencias hablan de la Diosa Madre...
En fin hasta aquí mi reflexión que puede este un poco extensa, pero recuerda que los debates sobre religión entre amigos y conocidos suelen durar horas y todos pueden tener visiones diferentes aunque concuerden en algunas cosas, por eso la religión y las creencias siempre serán nuestros temas más polémicos, interesantes, relevantes y hasta entretenidos. Espero les haya gustado y me encantaría conocer sus opiniones.

I am very critical of people who cling faithfully to a religion and I think they miss a lot of the good things that the world offers in its wide range of options at the spiritual level, but we must also think that these methods, perhaps rigid or outdated for some, are the ones that can work for these people or have worked for them, we must remember that we are all in search and we should not judge.
I am one of those who think that nowadays we should not cling to any religion, we must seek a higher spiritual consciousness, learning from ancient cultures and Masters and sages, who had a great connection with the issues of the earth, the heavens and the various physical and spiritual beings that surround us, life, etc., all this without fanaticism, giving room also to doubt, because doubt helps us to seek the truth, without obsession, without isolating ourselves, giving respect and importance to our personal, family, social and professional life, you can live the spiritual search without harming yourself or others, please if you are in any cult or belief that damages or unbalances your life and health, you are in the wrong place, because if God or the gods exist they want your welfare and development, for some reason Jesus the Christ calls God the Father and taught us to pray, also other religions and beliefs speak of the Mother Goddess. ..
Anyway, up to here my reflection that may be a little long, but remember that debates about religion among friends and acquaintances usually last for hours and everyone can have different views even if they agree on some things, so religion and beliefs will always be our most controversial, interesting, relevant and even entertaining topics.
