When we hear and see the word wisdom, our mind may move to a conception of the word relegated to the gnoseological, that is, to the sphere of knowledge, when in fact this does not do justice to it. True wisdom is more in the art of living, in this, there is no doubt that all those men and women who in one way or another have left us words of wisdom precisely for the purpose of providing us with the light on the path of life will undoubtedly agree. That is why this week's initiative of the Humanitas community is very interesting, in which we are invited to share those wise words that have inspired us or helped us in some aspect. The truth is that it has been difficult for me to choose because I keep in my mind and heart several words to which I resort on various occasions depending on the need, however, I have chosen three according to the source or origin of the same, because the wisdom of life comes to us in different ways, it is up to each one to perceive it.

Do not leave for tomorrow what you can do today (proverb).

The proverbs are loaded with one of the deepest pearls of wisdom, the one that has its roots in the same humanity, the people and nations that through time and with their diverse experiences have learned to transit life in the best way with the tools that can be in our hands in every instant. In this sense, one of the sayings that most attracts my attention is the one that invites us not to procrastinate, since it is simply not to deceive ourselves by saying things like "tomorrow I will do it" or "when I have time", since those who always say tomorrow never finish living there today, postponing for later things that should be done.

Yesterday is over and tomorrow we do not know if it will come, therefore, what we have left is today, take advantage of it to the maximum is the most sensible thing we can do for ourselves, on the other hand, we do not know what eventualities tomorrow may bring us, hence to do today what we had already planned will always be the best option. From experience, I know that it is not healthy to accumulate things "to do", in the end so many things scare us, and we end up doing nothing, therefore, I try not to postpone tasks even if they are small details because they are often the ones that make the difference in everything we do. This is not an easy task, but that's why I always tell myself: "Don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today".

We are not a finished product (book "Your wrong areas").

Another very important source of wisdom is in books, especially those that are aimed at removing the foundations of our existence, since they address us with words that refer directly to the way in which we perceive reality and the personal interpretation that we deserve. Well, one of these books is "Your Erroneous Zones" by Wayne Dyer, which without technicality and in a very pleasant way makes us delve into the depths of our being to dismantle beliefs that we have deeply rooted but are erroneous.

One of these beliefs is the one that leads us to say that "I am like that", "I have it in my blood", or "there is nothing to do" before this type of excuse the author points out that human life "is not a finished product", this phrase made me consider and think many things, because, really many times to not move forward we make excuses related precisely to that we can no longer do anything more, I personally consider this as a strong motivation for life, because it helps me not to remain static but with a constant dynamism, open to everything that I can project from my being.

These words are very close to what is human life in general, in the continuous process of change, therefore, I do not put limits on any dimension of my existence, because as long as I breathe I know I can move forward, also make mistakes, but this does not define me because I can remedy and improve because "I am not a finished product", I have not yet shown my best version.

Time is the greatest asset (introspection).

There are really many places where we can go to fill ourselves with wisdom, that which permeates life and gives it an interesting north gives it orientation and direction. Among these places, we are ourselves, since when we internalize our experiences and thoughts, our own conscience speaks to us and from time to time tells us words so accurately as to carve them in a picture and hang it in some space of our house. Well, lately there is a thought in my mind that is one of the most accurate that can be, and it is that "Time is the greatest asset", that is why it is what I value the most and what I give to others with more appreciation and affection.

Time is the greatest asset because if we make the comparison with economic assets, with time there is no inflation, and the time we have is less and less, according to the well-known saying "it is not a day more, but a day less", on the other hand, it has a finite supply, we are not owners and lords of our being here on earth, not even these seconds that have elapsed since I started this post I can recover, they "were already issued in the universal clock" and there is no possibility of turning back, hence, to conclude, we can also point out how here lies all its value, in fact when we pay someone for a service, the money we give is our gratitude and recognition of the time they devoted to it.

I do not want to finish this initiative without motivating us to invest our time in looking inside us, around us, to feed ourselves with all those things that fill us with wisdom, since any detail, word, fact that has happened can be that spark that ignites and shows us in words those actions that we must undertake, because words have that power of transformation in those who assimilate it, how many more those that are applied to life and that is why we call "wise"?
