Libertad positiva, mecánica o material: Este concepto contempla que para tener el estado de libertad la persona debe tener los recursos mínimos que un tercero decida como mínimo para ser libre, cuanto es no se sabe no existe una cantidad establecida cada persona tiene la suya propia pero quienes tienen el poder son quienes implantan este régimen. De esta manera los productivos son sometidos a trabajar a favor de los improductivos sin importar cuál sea la razón de su estado, así un padre que apenas llega a fin de mes le financia el alcohol a su vecino en vez de darle un plato de comida más decente a su hijo.
Esto es un oxímoron, incluso para ambos conceptos tanto para la libertad negativa como para sí mismo. En este caso existe la coacción directa de un tercero sobre el proyecto de vida de una persona para favorecer a otra. Por otra parte si es la cantidad de recursos que una persona posee lo que la hace libre si se saquea a las personas que tienen poco estas entraran al límite donde dejaran de serlo.
¿Entonces por qué no saqueamos a quien tiene más así todos será libres?
Quien tiene más es quien más aporta, esto es una constante aunque no lo veamos. Si estas personas no desean que le roben sus recursos se irá y con ella toda su inversión, los empleos que generó, el capital que ahorró y todos los posibles gastos que esta persona tendría, empobreciendo a todas las personas de la comunidad volviéndolos menos libres más dependientes de un tercero.

Por otra parte podemos decir que una esclava de 1800 trabajadora en una hacienda era más libre que Sócrates por poseer más recursos. Lo anterior es un absurdo verdad.
Es cierto que una mayor cantidad de recursos puede permitirnos tener más opciones para elegir pero también en algunos casos esa gran variedad de oportunidades es una tentativa a tomar la opción menos correcta para neutro bienestar físico y mental, encontrándose siempre en nosotros la capacidad de decidir.
Lo anteriormente descrito es una ínfima parte de todo lo destruido por el subjetivismo en el lenguaje, la manipulación de los conceptos y la pluralidad de significados incluso incoherentes entre si son un caldo de cultivo para que el lenguaje sea cada vez más un instrumento de control de las mazas.
