Holi, the festival of colors, is very enjoyable for kids. And it's very hard to stop them playing with the colors. Though there was some discussions going on to completely stop playing this year, my daughter insisted to bring some colors and keep it in case, it will be allowed. Since it was a week end, there is no way, I could say NO. So we stepped out to see, if there were shops around. Interestingly, we saw many and all of them were pretty crowded. So that means, everyone was in the mood of playing. We have a regular shop, from where we buy every year. This year also we went there and she bought all that she needed. Good that, it was not very crowded.

I thought, there will be very few kids playing this time. Every year, I go with them and observe them play the colors. But since the crowd was expected to be less this year, I just let them go and told to come back soon. After two hours , there was no sign of them coming back. So we thought, we would go and see. But we were not spared - there were still few friends, who took the opportunity. You just can't say NO to anyone, if you step out 😀 And some even come home and drag you.

The kids enjoyed it a lot - especially because, they were not sure about playing it. I have posted about Holi last year as well. Compared to those, it was of smaller scale - but they got what they wanted.
