Have you ever played Devil May Cry, I didn't until I played it for a couple of months, I can tell you that it is one of the best video games out there for the PlayStation 2 console, Devil May Cry is a game where your only goal is to kill the monsters that cross your path.
One of the things I liked the most about this game is its final boss, that's right, what we see in the screenshots is the final boss of Devil May Cry, so most likely I will comment on some spoilers of it, but well that does not matter so much, what matters is to see how huge the boss is, the boss of Devil May Cry is called Mundus, is the god of the underworld in Dante's universe, Mundus does such grotesque things without any drop of empathy.
The final boss sequence starts as a giant statue, on a huge throne that looks pretty neat, Dante challenges him to a fight, Mundus kidnaps his girlfriend and Dante brings out his demonic mystical power to confront him with all his might, Mundus feeling threatened reveals his true form, leaving that statue armor aside and showing his real form, now I want you to look at the images for a moment.
The images I took with my Bandicam recording program can be seen somewhat differently, this is because the cinematic for some reason came out with the original quality of the PS2 and not with the improved graphics that I put into the emulator, but even so in the cinematic and in the screenshots it looks gigantic, look at that boss looks like a serious God, it is imposing, it is not so scary, it looks more like an Angel but with different intentions.
Describing a little his appearance, we can see that Mundus has a kind of scar on his chest, like a crater, better said, that scar must have come out from another battle many centuries ago, this guy has seen many wars, in turn those rock wings must be super heavy (I do not understand how he can fly with that), if we look closely, we can see that in his arms he has several Japanese letters (I think) written on his skin, I wonder what they could mean.
The best of all is his Greek God face, that face is not very scary, but it is imposing, just look how Dante is in the images after seeing the real aspect of Mundus. On the other hand, the battle was spectacular, in total Mundus has three phases, the first one is the flying one where Dante must use his Demon power to be able to fly and shoot in his weak points, Star Wars style, after that phase comes the fight in the volcano.
Mundus stands up in the lava and starts throwing us things from beyond like magma rocks, lightning, and lava, among other things, to defeat him we must use the lightning sword, the last phase appears when we are leaving the castle, Mundus will look completely screwed, but he will want to take us to the grave with him, the thing is that Dante is much stronger than that hahaha.

Alguna vez jugaron al Devil May Cry, yo no hasta que lo jugué durante un par de meses, les puedo decir que es uno de los mejores videojuegos que hay para la consola PlayStation 2, Devil May Cry es un juego donde tu único objetivo es matar a los monstruos que se te atraviesen en tu camino.
Una de las cosas que más me gustaron de este juego es su jefe final, así es, lo que vemos en las capturas es el jefe final de Devil May Cry, así que lo más probable es que comente algún spoiler del mismo, pero bueno eso no importa tanto, lo importa es ver que tan inmenso es el jefe, el jefe de Devil May Cry se llama Mundus, es el dios del inframundo en el universo de Dante, Mundus hace cosas tan grotescas sin ninguna gota de empatía.
La secuencia final del jefe empieza siendo una estatua gigante, en un trono inmenso que se ve bastante limpio, Dante lo desafía a una pelea, Mundus secuestra a su novia y Dante saca su poder místico endemoniado para confrontarlo con todas sus fuerzas, Mundus al sentirse amenazado revela su verdadera forma, dejando esa coraza de estatua a un lado y mostrando su forma real, ahora quiero que vean las imágenes por un momento.
Las imágenes que tomé con mi programa de grabación de Bandicam se pueden ver algo diferentes, esto se debe a que la cinemática por alguna razón salió con la calidad original de la PS2 y no con los gráficos mejorados que le coloqué al emulador, pero bueno aun así en la cinemática y en las capturas se ve gigantesco, miren a ese jefe parece un Dios enserio, es imponente, no da tanto miedo, más bien parece un Ángel pero con intenciones diferentes.
Describiendo un poco su aspecto, podemos ver que Mundus tiene una especie de cicatriz en el pecho, como un cráter, mejor dicho, esa cicatriz debió salirle en otra batalla hace ya muchos siglos, este sujeto de verdad que ha visto muchas guerras, a su vez esas alas de roca que deben ser super pesadas (no entiendo cómo puede volar con eso), si nos fijamos bien, podemos ver que en sus brazos tiene varias letras japonesas (creo) escritas en su piel, me pregunto que podrán significar.
Lo mejor de todo es su cara de Dios Griego, esa cara no da mucho miedo, pero si es imponente, sólo miren como está Dante en las imágenes después de ver el verdadero aspecto de Mundus. Por otra parte, la batalla fue espectacular, en total Mundus tiene tres fases, la primera es la voladora donde Dante debe usar su poder de Demonio para poder volar y disparar en sus puntos débiles, al estilo de Star Wars, después de esa fase viene la pelea en el volcán.
Mundus se pone de pie en la lava y nos empieza a lanzar cosas del más allá como rocas de magma, rayos, lava, entre otras cosas, para vencerlo debemos usar la espada del rayo, la última fase aparece cuando estamos saliendo del castillo, Mundus se verá completamente jodido, pero nos querrá llevar a la tumba con él, la cosa es que Dante es mucho más fuerte que eso jajaja.
