The Cloudscapes Of Teyvat - Beautiful But Also Imposing

One of the most amazing and striking aspects in video games are the landscapes of open environments and wide shots, and although it is undeniable that a sunset or sunrise completely bright and clear in video games is simply epic, another aspect that can be equally beautiful are the cloudscapes, although usually clear landscapes are more frequent, this does not mean that we can not find shots where clouds have much of the protagonism, and Genshin Impact also has some areas where clouds highlight the beauty of the continent.

One of the regions that I found most tedious at the beginning of the adventure was Liyue due to its high mountains, but by climbing these same mountains I can get to have really great views of the entire region covered by a practically endless sea of clouds that ends where the horizon ends, although I can also see clouds at much higher altitudes, it is very nice to see the thin layer of clouds that separates the surface of Liyue from the peaks where I was.

Undoubtedly the high altitude areas in Genshin Impact have great views and the highest place where I can reach is the pillar of Dragon Thorn, an area where the ground is so far away that you can see everything blurred blending with the low clouds, also the views resulting from the sunset where the faint sun combines with the high clouds to give them that slightly yellow hue is certainly very relaxing.

Normally clouds usually accompany relaxing and calm landscapes, but sometimes stormy and swirling clouds help to create that aura of restlessness ideal for some places, this happens precisely in one of the islands of Inazuma, where a giant swirl of clouds, which can remind the eye of a hurricane, combines with purple tones to generate an aura of uneasiness and understand perfectly that you are in danger and where if you neglect a lightning can end up hitting you, how could it be otherwise is an ideal place for the Arconte Electro.

The Sumeru Desert also has places where the clouds help to create a somewhat dangerous environment such as a large whirlpool, where in addition to the central area, the entire sky is also covered by dark and stormy clouds that give a very impressive result, an effect that reminds us perfectly of the sky every time a big storm approaches and that makes us seek shelter soon.

Finally, one of the most striking and at the same time iconic landscapes adorned by clouds, as well as main of all Genshin Impact is the Mondstadt area, where the landscape of the city, the windmills, the steep mountains and the high clouds that cover the sky completely yellow when bathed by the light of dawn are combined. A very nice and soothing view where each element is combined in a good way and manage to create a very relaxing harmony and a great wallpaper, I like how the clouds help to make a better tonality change between the warmth of the yellowish sun and the cold of the bluish sky, they are very well to help the blurring where both tonalities are combined.
