Rachel would not wait around till night time, she had much to do before then. First she would head out to the abandoned warehouse to case the place, to sense what could be angles of attack or a trap. She walked there immediately while the bits of light still flecked through to the earth.

It was an abandoned building alright. There was more decrepitude then most of the other buildings but this was the place outside of town that must have been a long gone use for some storage of refining sorts. This used to be two story warehouse factory with a catwalk and stairs that encircled the upper floor looking down into the floor below. Many places for a trap to be set, but there was a lack of concern in this matter given the idea that she knew more then she ever let on and would be ready for action if there was a trap to be sprung. After walking around the outside of the building she made her way back into town to take in some of the sights and get a greater feel for the town, the various facets of the oil Barron and his surroundings.

She stopped into a tavern and got the local speciality, the rig pigs buffet, a sorted table of plates shining from the top to the bottom with odd that and this. Filling her stomach then making her way to the town center to see hear and listen to her senses.

The supposed town center was a scattering of people that milled about waiting for the horn to sound letting the workers know it was shift change over. She blended into the foot traffic as well as anyone from this town. Her disguise was on point, Rachel thought. She heard mummers from folks about other towns far away and the daily grumbling of those that work for their pay in various forms and ways. She heard people talking bout the big plans to take the town into the future by way of a flying machine that was being developed in some secret location in town. It sounded like rumour, but one could not be sure.

She over heard the talks from a group of men who talked about the splitting of oil to its base components and how they were to go about doing so. Coming up against time limits, supply limitations that seemed to come from their own factories, and the other crew who's laziness was slowing down the progress. Rachel stored this information away to be sussed out later. She knew their was something more to rumours in her experience and she needed two angles on the oil Baron if he in fact has plans of sabotage.
Rachel walked the streets for a while longer taking note of certain buildings that had a lot of activity from people who were not evidently working with machines and oil but more of paperwork and pencils. She mentally mapped the area to reference and recreate later.
The sound of the shift change over whistle blew, marking eleven at night. She would take the next hour to make her way to the out of town warehouse.

As she approached the warehouse she saw no signs of activity around the area. The distant burn off stacks whispered flames in the night not bright enough to illuminate anything but the tip of the stack to which the flame tickled the dark sky.

It must be midnight by now she though as her ears attuned to the crunching of gravel outside. One set of foot steps were heard putting her at a bit of ease.
A tall quick figure entered the warehouse floor from the same door she had. Almost as quick as she had seen him at the door, he was standing right in front of her as though he walked faster then her eyes blinked and brain registered.
"Hi Rachel, I am glad you came" he said.
"What is the meaning of this meeting?" Rachel said
"You wanted to know where your brother was being kept, I lined you up with that. Now you need to know some other information about sabotage, but this time it will have to be traded for information that you will bring me when the Pizza Barron connects to the way back machine on the old servers" he said.
Rachel was a bit taken aback as she was not used to people knowing about her plans, relations, intent, and more - as the person that stood in front of her knew much more then she had ever experienced in one meeting. She kept her face as solemn as she could, not to give a flinch in this situation. "What is the oil Barons plans of sabotage?"
"Let just say that a preservative ingredient you require is produced in this Kingdome. The conversation you overheard in town was correct, the ingredients are being separated to base elements with an expedited expiration. Putting you and the Pizza Barron in a olive of a rotten situation, quickly" he said with a bit of a grin.
"What do you mean "expedited expiration"?" She asked inquisitively.
"Do not get too far ahead, you still have lots of information for me to gather." he said turning to walk away.
"What kind of information do you want?" she offered.
"Ill be in contact soon Rachel, Bucephalus is a lovely horse" he said eyes glinting.
"Wait, " she stammered wondering how he knew of her horse "what is your name?"
"Call me Mercury" he said and was immediately out the back door of the warehouse.
She ran over to see where he headed but he was nowhere to be seen. Her heart pounded in her chest not from the sprint over to the door but from what had just transpired. How did he know..., how did he know, so much?
