The Empress of Russia
The relations between Venezuela and Russia go back to the VIII century, when Francisco de Miranda in his trip around the world arrives to the court of the Empress Catherine the Great, Czarina of Russia and in an example of diplomacy and great political skill he obtains her support for the independence cause of Venezuela, but he also achieves a great friendship with the monarch, Once Miranda decides to return to the West, he would cross the Russian borders as a colonel of that nation and with a passport that would allow him to enter with total freedom to the European territory, which is undoubtedly a great advantage, since it would speed up the plans of the hero to achieve his libertarian crusade.

La Emperatriz de Rusia
Las relaciones entre Venezuela y Rusia se remontan hasta el siglo VIII, cuando Francisco de Miranda en su recorrido por el mundo llega hasta la corte de la emperatriz Catalina La Grande, Zarina de Rusia y en un ejemplo de diplomacia y gran habilidad política logra el apoyo de esta para la causa independentista de Venezuela, pero también consigue una gran amistad con la monarca, la cual se forjaría a través del tiempo y perduraría por muchos años, una vez que Miranda decide regresar a occidente cruzaría las fronteras rusas como coronel de dicha nación y con un pasaporte que le permitiría entrar con total libertad al territorio europeo, lo cual es sin duda alguna una gran ventaja, ya que agilizaría los planes del prócer para así lograr su cruzada libertaria.
With the arrival of the 21st century, relations between Venezuela and Russia have become much stronger, since both governments have without a doubt a common purpose, which serves as an adhesive to forge a strategic alliance that does not stop growing, therefore, walking through the streets of cities like Caracas is easy to find murals alluding to Russian culture, which has gradually been mixed with the Venezuelan, generating a feeling of familiarity that is palpable in the population.
Con la llegada del siglo XXI, las relaciones entre Venezuela y Rusia se han fortalecido mucho, ya que ambos gobiernos cuentan sin duda alguna con un propósito común, el cual sirve como adhesivo para forjar una alianza estratégica que no parta de crecer, por lo tanto, al caminar por las calles de ciudades como Caracas es fácil encontrarse con murales alusivos a la cultura rusa, la cual poco a poco se ha ido mezclando con la venezolana, generando un sentimiento de familiaridad que resulta palpable en la población.
This mural is located in a privileged place of the Venezuelan capital, since we can find it a few meters from the Plaza Bolivar and a few steps from the Cathedral, according to its legend, was developed by "La Casa Rusia" an entity linked to the embassy of that country and is dedicated to the promotion of scientific and cultural relations between the two nations.
Este mural se ubica en un lugar privilegiado de la capital venezolana, ya que lo podemos encontrar a pocos metros de la Plaza Bolívar y a escasos pasos de la Catedral, según indica su leyenda, fue elaborado por “La Casa Rusia” un ente vinculado a la embajada de dicho país y que se dedica a la promoción de las relaciones científicas y culturales entre ambas naciones.
