A streetart trip along Dordrecht, The Netherlands #10, Simian Switch & Robbert Visser: Heraldic No: 1

Simian Switch & Robbert Visser

On the side of this house facing the crossroad on the Kromhout and Warmoezierpad, you will find this piece done by Simian Switch and Robbert Visser. It's called Heraldic No: 1. In the piece you can find a lion (Heraldic), which is used on many Dutch weapon shields, like our countries one, or of several counties. In some of these weapon shields the Heraldic is pictured with arrows, like the one of the Republiek der zeven Vereenigde Nederlanden.

The piece was commissioned by the owners of the house back in 2018

This Heraldic part is done by Simian Switch, and the flat's are done by Robbert Visser in his personal style.
