Barcelona is a city that exhibits interesting street art. Near the port many of the walls are covered with street art murals. In one of my visits to this European city I found this painting of this frighting gorilla. It is quite intimidating. I find interesting the geometric proportions of the face and the usage of the space by the artist.

Barcelona es una ciudad en la que el visitante puede encontrar interesantes obras de “arte callejero”. Cerca del puerto hay muchas paredes cubiertas por este tipo de graffitis. En una de mis visitas a esta ciudad europea encontré este singular mural. Es la cara bastante intimidante de un gorila. Encuentro llamativas las proporciones geométricas del rostro y el uso que el artista dio al espacio.

At the moment that I was visiting this place, there were painting other mural on the next wall, as it can be seen in this photo.
En el momento de mi visita al lugar, se encontraban pintando otro mural en la pared contigua, tal como se puede apreciar en la foto.
I also show the image in black and white I find it looks much better in this monochromatic format. The gorilla is more frighting. Do you agree?
También muestro la imagen en formato blanco y negro. Me gusta más esta versión monocromática que la original en color, considero que el gorila luce más amenazador. ¿Están de acuerdo?
The camera that I used was a Sony DSC-R1 and the edition software was Gimp.
