The street art of now days has evolved a long way since its origins, which were the irreverent graffitis. In the present many works of “street art” are decorative painting on the walls of many shops, they serve as publicity for these shops. In this way the street art is distancing from its origins.
In this post I publish a series of photos of a recent mural located at the city center of Antofagasta (Chile). As you can see its theme is juvenil and the same time irreverent.
It is worth mention its vibrant colors, the composition and the lettering. The mural consists of two “pieces”, I show details of both of them and the surroundings where they are located.
Hoy en día el arte urbano, ha evolucionado mucho desde sus orígenes del graffiti irreverente, muchas obras que se ven hoy en día soy decoraciones para locales comerciales que sirven de publicidad para los mismos, alejándose así muchos de sus principios. En el post de hoy muestro una serie de fotografías de un mural reciente ubicado en el centro de Antofagasta, como pueden ver tiene este motivo juvenil y al mismo tiempo irreverente. Cabe destacar los colores vibrantes del mismo y también el lettering. El mural tiene dos “piezas”, las cuales muestro en detalle y también los alrededores donde están ubicados.
The photos were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and edited in Gimp. During the edition I did perspective correction since the mural is located in a street on a slopping hill. I also did the usual things in the edition: contrast, shadows, saturation, etc.
Las fotografías fueron tomadas con la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra y editadas en Gimp. Durante la edición efectué corrección de perspectiva, ya que el lugar donde esta el mural es una calle ubicada en una colina con una inclinación fuerte. También hice cambio de contrastes, sombras, saturación, etc, en fin lo que normalmente se usa en el proceso de edición.
