Today a new series on the works done by the artist Lost Claws, always so active on Montreal for my greatest happiness (and I hope yours too 😀). I love finding one of his collages on the street with his black humor. But he doesn't only do collages, there are also some murals with his famous skull like here on Napoleon street.

Aujourd'hui une nouvelle série sur les œuvres faites par l'artiste Lost Claws, toujours aussi actif sur Montréal pour mon plus grand bonheur (et j'espère le votre aussi 😀 ). J'adore trouver un de ses collages au détour d'une rue avec son humour noir. Mais il ne fait pas seulement des collages, il y a aussi parfois quelques murales avec son fameux crâne comme ici sur la rue Napoléon.

On a vacant lot, Lost Claws left this series of skulls. And on the other wall that closes this yard, another work (see photo below).
Sur un terrain vacant, maintenant en construction, Lost Claws a laissé cette série de crânes . Et sur l'autre mur qui ferme cette cour, une autre oeuvre (voir la photo plus bas).

The biography has not changed since my last post about the artist. Lost Claws aka The Local Annoyance as he defines himself on his Instagram, is street artist specializing especially in wheatpasting with his favorite character, the Death, a teeth or an elephant. His works appeared in the streets of Montreal in 2017. He made some dark sarcastic views on our actual society. He always find the right word to define with humor a societal problem.

La biographie n'a pas changé depuis mon dernier post sur l'artiste. Lost Claws aka The Local Annoyance comme il se définit sur son compte Instagram, est un artiste spécialisé dans les collages avec ses personnages préférés, la Mort, une dent ou un éléphant. Ses œuvres sont apparues dans les rues de Montréal en 2017. Il a toujours un point de vue sarcastique et sombre sur notre société actuelle. Il trouve toujours le mot juste pour définir avec humour un problème de société.

< Here is another recurring character at Lost Claws, Death, on the walls of an SAQ (Société d'Alcool du Québec, the government corporation in charge of selling alcohol in the province). Another perfect spot!

On Napoleon Street, there is another wall with a new series of skulls. I had to pass my camera between the wooden fence to be able to take this picture. Not ideal but it still gives a good idea of the work.

Sur la rue Napoléon, il y a un autre mur avec une nouvelle série de crânes. J'ai dû passer mon appareil photo entre la palissade en bois pour être capable de prendre cette photo. Pas idéal mais cela donne quand même une bonne idée de l'œuvre :
