CCC's Street Art Contest #134 - Facing the sea

Hello everyone!

Here again posting in this community #StreetArt about a street mural that I have seen here around and I would like to join one more time this week's contest, CCC's Street Art Contest #134 hosted by @digi-me, thanks for the initiative! And thanks @heroldius too for being always present and supporting all this.

And we continue near the sea, on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, near Valencia, in Sagunto, there on the Avenida del Mediterráneo parallel to the promenade, we recently discovered a fun mural CCC's Street Art Contest #132 - A video game on the wall!

But just taking a few more steps in a nearby building on the other hand we discover another large work of art covering a long and extensive wall, and this time it does look like it came out of a museum.

Because it is in a style that is very familiar to us in this area, it looks like a painting by Joaquín Sorolla, that well-known painter from the early 20th century who wanted to immortalize not only the Valencian Mediterranean sea but also the people who enjoyed it there, fishermen with their boats and nets, women who walked with their umbrellas and jovial children who played naked with the waves. And this mural collects all that essence.

The essence of the sea and everything blue, because the sky is also bright blue, and these days are when it shines brightest, under an intense and warm light, which transports us more to that nearby place, because it is there, just crossing the sea. another side is the beach, where we can represent that same scene. How many times have we seen a similar picture on a summer day?

It represents everything, freshness, life and nature. A perfect and daily fusion for those who live in front of the Mediterranean.
And whose work of art is it? There is little information about it, only in an article announced on the website of the Sagunto City Council itself.

Or on the Instagram account (@mesquemurs_sagunt) they have about these urban murals.

And it turns out that it is a very recent mural from 2022, made by the Dúo Amazonas, made up of two women who came together artistically in 2017 (Natalia Andreoli from Argentina, and Lina Castellanos from Colombia).

There, on a large wall, they have captured much of the human being, and of the normal life they have in contrast with the real world, with nature that surrounds everything, and the connection is strong here, just like the energy of the sea that it bewitches and attracts, just like this urban sea mural on a wall facing the sea.

Thanks for reading! Have an inspired and natural day.
