A special greeting to all art lovers, my name is Doris and this is my first publication in this community full of color and artistic expression. I love to admire art and reflect on what the artist wanted to express in his creations. I love to go for a walk and find a beautiful mural that not only fills with color and beautifies the streets of the city, but also captivates me with the message it conveys through his work.
A few days ago walking through the streets of my city I found a beautiful mural, which I was contemplating and admiring for a long time and now this long wall, tells us by itself, about what is the State of Merida, Venezuela, its traditions, its culture, its architecture, everything is told through this wonderful work.
Un saludo especial a todos los amantes del arte, mi nombre es Doris y esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad llena de color y expresión artística. Me encanta admirar el arte y reflexionar acerca de lo que el artista quiso expresar en sus creaciones. Adoro, salir a caminar y encontrarme con un bello mural, que no solo llene de color y embellezca las calles de la ciudad, sino que también me cautive con el mensaje que transmite a través de su obra.
Hace unos días caminando por las calles de mi ciudad me encontré con un mural hermoso, el cual estuve contemplando y admirando por largo rato y es que ahora esta larga pared, nos cuenta por si sola, acerca de lo que es el Estado Mérida, Venezuela, sus tradiciones, su cultura, su arquitectura, todo es contado a través de esta obra maravillosa.
I don't know how long it has been there, it has been a while since I last walked these streets, maybe a little more than a year, I don't know the name of the author either, but for him or them, all credit and merit. What I know is that it is part of a project of beautification of the streets of the city, as well as this, we can enjoy other works in some places that have been recovered in the last year.
This mural is located exactly in one of the perimeter walls of the first station of the cable car system of Merida Mukumbari, in the sector of the heroines.
No sé desde cuando está ahí, tenía tiempo que no transitaba por estas calles, tal vez poco más de un año, tampoco conozco el nombre del autor, pero para él o ellos, todo el crédito y mérito. Lo que sé es que forma parte de un proyecto de embellecimiento de las calles de la ciudad, ya que así como este, podemos disfrutar de otras obras en algunos lugares que han sido recuperados, en el último año.
Este mural está situado exactamente en una de las paredes perimetrales, de la primera estación del sistema del teleférico de Mérida Mukumbari, en el sector las heroínas.
It is quite colorful and beautiful, it calls my attention how the author managed to create a perfect collage where he represents different emblematic towns of the state, in the previous picture we can imagine how is the daily life of the people who live in these dream towns, here highlights Tabay, Arapuey, Canagua and the Pueblos del Sur, it seems a quite hectic day, some working in agriculture and livestock, others selling rich products in the street, tourists arriving by bus and others enjoying the square, filling it with beautiful musical notes. At the same time, we can perceive its picturesque architecture, its stone streets and in the background the imposing mountains of the Andean Cordillera.
Es bastante colorido y hermoso, me llama mucho la atención como el autor logro crear un collage perfecto donde representa distintos pueblos emblemáticos del estado, en la fotografía anterior podemos imaginarnos, como es el día a día de las personas que viven en estos pueblos de ensueño, aquí destaca Tabay, Arapuey, Canagua y los Pueblos del Sur, parece un día bastante agitado, algunos trabajando en la agricultura y la ganadería, otros vendiendo ricos productos en la calle, los turistas llegando en el bus y otros disfrutando de la plaza, llenándola de lindas notas musicales. Al mismo tiempo, podemos percibir su arquitectura pintoresca, sus calles de piedra y al fondo las imponentes montañas de la Cordillera Andina.
We keep moving forward and continue touring our State, through this work, now we arrive to Mucuchíes, here, we see an interesting contrast, which gives us an idea of the different lifestyles present in the community, the proud farmer taking his cow to pasture, the woman weaving a blanket to protect herself from the cold and the young man listening to music while enjoying a hot drink.
A couple more steps and we arrive at Cacute, Mucuruba where you can perceive the joy that characterizes the people of these lands, with some demonstrations of their traditional dances.
Seguimos avanzando y seguimos recorriendo nuestro Estado, a través de esta obra, ahora llegamos a Mucuchíes, aquí, vemos un contraste interesante, que nos da una idea de los distintos estilos de vida presentes en la comunidad, el agricultor orgulloso llevando a pastorear su vaca, la mujer tejiendo una manta para protegerse del frio y el joven escuchando música mientras disfruta de una bebida caliente.
Un par de pasos más y llegamos a Cacute, Mucuruba donde se puede percibir la alegría que caracteriza al gentilicio de estas tierras, con algunas demostraciones de sus bailes y danzas tradicionales.
As you will see in the following images, it highlights the work of agriculture, handicrafts and the daily life of the Merideño. Some areas have already been deteriorated by the constant rains, but I hope it stays this beautiful for a long time.
Como verán en las siguientes imágenes, destaca la labor de la agricultura, la artesanía y la vida cotidiana del Merideño. Algunas áreas ya han sido deterioradas por las constantes lluvias, pero espero se mantenga así de bello, por mucho tiempo.
Browsing through the community I found this CCC's Street Art Contest #130, which I am happy to join for the first time.
It was a pleasure to share with you this magnificent expression of art, I hope to continue sharing more of the urban art of my city.
