STREET ART #141 - Something from Kristiansand, Norway

DSC_01.jpg

A little new and a little old from Kristiansand. Sometimes I walk past paintings many times without being able to take pictures. It is often random what you see on your way. All of these can be found in the center of Kristiansand, but a couple of them must be new, as I have not seen them until now.

These angry birds are painted in an underpass under one of the main streets. There are lots of paintings here. I am not sure when they were painted, but I think it's allready many years. The portrait painted by artist Shift, has also been in the underpass for a long time.

These must be rather new, as the is around the harbour and the fish market. A place where I come quite often. I think the two above is quite cool. The artist have been standing on the opposite site of the Kilden Theatre and Concert Hall. He has painted what he saw on the opposite side. Beside Kilden, you will see some old grain silos. These are undergoing rehabiltation and are going to become an art center. Though not finished yet.

I found these in an opposite corner of the city. They have been her for some time too. Otherwise I have seen too much new recently. The artists will probably become more active in the spring. It's still cold.
