Unfortunatly I only had a short stay when I was in Portugal in September. Because my holiday was combined with the Azores, we were left with only two days here, on our way back to Norway. I was very much looking forward to find great street art. Many Hivers have posted amazing murals from Lisbon, so that made me really look forward to visit. We didn't get enough time to go all around the city. What we discovered was by accident when we walked to and from sights.
This graffiti can be found in the center of the city, in the district called Bairro Alto. One of the oldest districts with many narrow streets. Many are steep, but it was much nicer to walk than to take the tram all the time. But a short ride with one of the trams was of course a must. Quite impressive to see how they climb the steep streets.
All of these paintings are found along the very steep acces up to the viewpoint Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara. We started at the bottom of the street because we wanted to take the elevator tram to the top. But due to a long queue and thus a long waiting time, we desided to walk to the top. It turned out to be a good idea, as we got to get a closer look on the wall.
I don't know much about the artists. «Utopia» seems to be the name of one of the artists. I did did google to find out more, but I found the artist on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/utopia.artist/
