STREET ART #136 - Karolinelund in Aalborg, Denmark

01.jpg

In october and november, I have been to Aalborg a couple of times. As usual, I went for a walk in Karolinelund in the center of the city. I follow some of the artists on Instagram and in this way I can see if there are new paintings in the city. The park is undergoing rehabilitation, so parts are closed to the public. One my favourite artists is very active here in the park, so I felt pretty sure there would be some new paintings done by him.

I was right. I didn't see all of these last time. Burnon creates beautiful portraits. Not only humans, but cats and dogs too. Besides being a very active street artist, he also works with tattoos.

There wasn't too much inside the park, but because the park is surrounded by a fence of concrete, that is decotated too. That means I always take a walk around the whole place. I did find something new on the fence. The only thing is that there is a road here and many cars are parked along the fence. That makes it difficult to take good photos. But I didn't have time to go back to check if the cars were gone...
