STREET ART #125 - The city of Kings (Vordingborg, Denmark)

01.jpg

Only a few weeks ago, I was in Copenhagen to visit some art exhibitions. Since Vordingborg is only an hour's train ride from Copenghagen, we decided to visit this city as well. The city has a mediaval Castle, built in 1160. It's one of the places in Denmark where some of the most significant historical events has taken place. Vordingborg Castle has an exhibition center on the grounds of the castle. The main reason to visit was the photo exhibition that tells the story of some of the most powerful queens.

I found this man painted at the staircase between two floors in the exhibition center. Looks like he is running up the stairs and leaves traces on the wall with a red pencil.

A microphone decorated with faces and connected to a power box. I do not know if the faces are famous international musicians, or locals, but the wire to the power box that makes a tower is at least local. Vordingborg Castle has a tower that is what is left of several towers that were once here. It's called "The Goose Tower" (directly translated). The tower here resembles very much the real tower.

When I was onboard the train and on the way back to Copenhagen, this «graffiti train» passed. I actually did see many trains with graffiti. I guess it must be legal graffiti.
