I'll be sharing with you more of Iloilo. Hope you'd enjoy this!

THE MOLO MANSION

The very cutie mansion I have ever seen! The mansion was converted into a place where you can do photoshoots, art exhibit, sometimes as markets or just a place you can visit whenever you like. No fee needed upon entrance. You can enjoy touring inside the mansion, buy souvenir items here or dine in their mini coffee shop.

CALLE REAL

The most famous street in Iloilo.Well, for me. The building I usually see in postcards and magazines.

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed on how it looked when we witness in personally. But, considering how old the building is, and looking at how the place became the center of trade in the area, not bad at all. In a closer look, you will see that there are lots of vendors their selling different goods. Somewhat similar to Carbon area if you have visited Cebu. It is quiet a busy street for buyers, sellers and even tourists.

MUSEO ILOILO

Whenever I visit museums, I always think that I'll get to see amazing things, memorabilia, treasures. It's quite surprising how every place has museums showcasing different preserved items they have discovered from long long long time ago. The museum charges you a minimal entrance fee but all worth it.

Just few of the paintings and preserved items inside the museum.

LA PAZ BATCHOY

Untitled design (1).png
The famous La Paz Batchoy in Iloilo. La Paz is known to have the best batchoy in town. It was early in the morning when we looked for a place to eat and then poof "Why not eat batchoy?" So we asked for directions how to go to La Paz from where we stayed and then found it! So far, nothing beats my batchoy experience in La Paz. The food presentation looks simple and the same compared to other stores selling batchoy, but the taste is really tasty, different from the rest.

GARIN FARM

I never knew about this place and it was not even on our list of places to visit but a local mentioned about this and we got interested by how he described the place.

So, yeah, we went there and never felt disappointed. This is a multi-purpose place. You'll get entertained by different livestock and plants when you pass by the entrance. A clean big pond near their restaurant. So while eating, you also get the view of a beautiful pond. And the highlight is their Pilgrimage area. Lots of big statues depicting different scenes you can read in the bible, a heaven-like place with all white colors and a stair with hundreds of steps to take before you reach the top which reminded me of the steps I took when I visited Bohol to see the chocolate hills..😁

ILOILO RIVER ESPLANADE

Untitled design (3).png
This place is really wide. It's a great project they had there. I've read that this was made in order to provide both sides of the Iloilo River an esplanade in which the pedestrians can use. We enjoyed the place, the fresh air, the colors that we saw, everything. Just a tip, if you dont want to get dark while walking around the esplanade, don't go there at noon.

I am very sure, Iloilo has more to offer that we never experienced during our first visit. I hope I can visit the place again and explore other places I've never seen.
