I love Berlin, I love Germany.
I was here for two weeks climbing through windows. I am an URBAN EXPLORER
You can see my work in our community, @hive-104387 Urban Exploration. My posts there will be ongoing for a few weeks as there is do much to upload and share.
In the evening I spent my time wandering round parts of the city, not for me the rebuilt tourist attractions nor the corporate street art on the tourist trail. I hope you enjoy.
I quickly learned early on that if you can see this iconic tower you won’t get lost!
I was told that these brass plates could be found all over the city, these were the only ones I spotted as I walked up to Weißensee cemetery; some remarkable memorials, 115,000 graves dating back to the 1880’s
As I walked around the housing areas a wealth of contrast
I love posters and randomness on lamp posts
Not for me the “touristic” corporate street art, the trip advisor tours, the money making greed to draw you in. Am I being to cynical? These are stunning works in my eye.
Living on the streets and political messages
Sculptures random, e bikes, and trams all part of Berlin’s great tapestry
Snaps taken over a couple of evenings in September
