Las Terrazas: A tour of Mother Nature from one of the Biosphere Reserves

Coordinating with some friends from the university, we decided to tour the community of Las Terrazas again, which is located within the Sierra del Rosario. Its size and beauty is unique and unmatched, like its elevations and places created by nature itself.

Next we carried everything towards one of the most iconic mountains in the area: La Loma del Salón, an elevation which is highly visited by hiking lovers. It should be noted that this place has a height of approximately 1.8 km, its views are incredible.

Then we would continue along the trails on the way to Las Peladas, where the Las Terrazas viewpoint is located, a wonderful place with its representative view of the mountains in which the cellular antennas, also known as base stations or cell towers, are located.

One of the exits that this path has is towards Lake Curujey, where the Curujey Ranch is located, a spectacular place to clear and share along with the beautiful views that it presents to us.

Walking through the floodplain that connects both parts of Lake Curujey, perfect to better notice the flora and fauna of the place.

Arriving at the area where we were staying, we found the unexpected, a Tocororo, the national bird, I had never seen one in my life, and we had it perched on a branch above us, truly magnificent.

And of course the souvenir photo could not be missing, the group was worthy of this trip within one of the most natural areas of the country. Photo to remember.

I hope that with this content, you take some time to visit this wonderful place, that everyone has a great day, a hug.
