Introduction
Hello everyone! Lester here! End of season is just around the corner and this week I will share my experience about battling Scarred Llama Mage and Kron The Undying or Llama-Kron combo in Bronze League. Are you one of the players using this combo? Or are you one of the players who are tired of losing to this combo? Please keep on reading because this post may be for you.
Whether you are playing for Bronze Leaderboard or just casually playing for the Daily Quest, chances are, you already encountered this combo. Especially when the Mana Cap is 17 and one of the active element is Earth. So for this blog, I would like to share my experience on how to deal with this combo in Bronze League. So for the following battle scenarios, let us assume that the mana cap is 17 and the opponent will only use Scarred Llama Mage and Kron The Undying.

Byzantine Kitty | Ancient Lich
The first on our list is using the Legendary Summoner from Dragon Element - Byzantine Kitty and the Legendary Monster from Death Element - Ancient Lich.
The line up used here is - Byzantine Kitty (7), Cursed Slimeball (1), Carrion Shade (1), Shadowy Presence (1), Ancient Lich (7). That makes 17 mana in total. The idea here is for the Ancient Lich to accumulate enough base health using its ability Life Leech before going to the first position. Once Ancient Lich is in the first position, Byzantine Kitty will heal it while steadily increasing its HP using Life Leech. Ancient Lich will be able to annihilate Kron the Undying but this battle will be also a battle of attrition and the Ancient Lich will be the victor. I added the gif of the battle below for you guys to see the battle in action.
By the time the Ancient Lich moved to the first position, it already has 7 HP. And from this, the battle will go on and on until Kron the Undying die first due to fatigue and Ancient Lich attack. The battle lasted 27 rounds and by the end of this battle Ancient Lich has 56 HP!
Byzantine Kitty | Black Dragon
The next on our list is using again the Legendary Summoner from Dragon Element - Byzantine Kitty and the Legendary Monster from Dragon Element - Black Dragon.
In case you do not have Ancient Lich on your deck, we can use another monster card with Life Leech Ability. Black Dragon's Magic attack is weaker compared to Ancient Leech but they have the same base Health. The line up used here is - Byzantine Kitty (7), Furious Chicken (0), Cursed Slimeball (1), Carrion Shade (1), Chaos Agent (1), Shadowy Presence (1), Black Dragon (6). And that makes 17 mana. This has the same idea with using Byzantine Kitty and Ancient Lich which will be a battle of attrition. Check the gif below to see the battle per round.

Black Dragon moved to the first position with 8 HP. And from this, the battle will go on and on until Kron the Undying die first due to fatigue. The battle lasted 29 rounds and by the end of this battle, Black Dragon has 17 HP, a less number compared to Ancient Lich but still won the battle.
Prince Rennyn | Low Mana Cost Range Attack Monsters
The next on our list is using the Legendary Summoner from Earth Element - Prince Rennyn which gives +1 Range Attack, +1 Speed and +1 Health to friendly monsters.
Together with Prince Rennyn are the low mana cost range attack monsters and a semi tank. Here is the line up used in this battle - Prince Rennyn (5), Lvl 3 Failed Summoner (2), Lvl 2 Swamp Thing (2), Lvl 2 Halfling Alchemist (2), Lvl 3 Goblin Dartling (2), Lvl 2 Acid Shooter (2), Lvl 2 Xenith Archer (2). That makes 17 mana in total. The strategy here is different compared to using Byzantine Kitty, Ancient Lich and Black Dragon. This time, this line will annihilate the Legendary Kron the Undying. Scarred Llama Mage | Grund
The last on our list is using Scarred Llama Mage and an Epic Monster from Earth Element - Grund which is I think the latest addition to this list because this card is part of the Chaos Legion Edition.
Grund also needs 10 mana to be used and has the skill Double Strike. Together with Scarred Llama Mage's Last Stand, its Melee Attack will increase from 3 to 5 and will deal 10 damage each round. Out of the battles above, this is the quickest. Check the battle below for you to see.
My Takeaway
Please note that the above battles have the assumption that the mana cap is 17 and the ruleset will not affect the attack and base HP of both sides. Surely, Scarred Llama Mage and Kron The Undying combo is a powerful move when battling in Bronze League. But it will still depend on the ruleset of the game. For example, if the ruleset is Equalizer and the mana cap is 17, you may not want to use Scarred Llama Mage and Kron The Undying combo if the opponent has Scarred Llama Mage, Flesh Golem and Wood Nymph. Your Llama-Kron combo will lose. You may not also want to use the Llama-Kron combo if the ruleset has Healed Out and Silenced Summoner because Kron the Undying relies on its Healing ability and Scarred Llama Mage's Last Stand.
