Welcome Splinters!

Evolution is always necessary, regardless of which place or objective, improving your conditions and your way of progressing is an almost unanimous idea for everyone.

With me it couldn't be different and now, I reached another achievement by placing all the common cards of the fire, water and death elements at level 5, from the Chaos Legion edition, in the ceiling of use for my summoners of these elements, which are at level 4.

Fire element

Nothing more explosive than the fire element, right? Even if perhaps many think that it is not necessary to level up all the cards, my focus is to improve all the units in the Chaos Legion edition, because after all, one time or another you use these cards and the higher they are, the lower the penalty for victory in battles.

image.png

About their use:

  • RADIATED SCORCHER: I like to use it in battle rules that allow melee units to attack from any position, your SHATTER skill can surprise you by totally destroying the armor of some unit, that's obvious, if he hits his attack.

  • RADIATED BRUTE: I practically use it in every battle that mana and rules allow, it helps my main tank a lot with its REACH skill.

  • SCAVO CHEMIST: I can't lie, I usually use this friend in the battle rule that adds poison to all units, so that he removes this negative attribute from my tank.

  • ANTOID PLATTON: It's not much of a secret, it's the best low-cost tank I have and it tends to help me a lot if my opponent doesn't set up a heavy magic attack team.

Finally, LAVA SPIDER is in the utilization lantern, because I climb to my team a few times, not that the card is bad, but because I usually assemble the team with other units that fit better.

My last units to close common rarity on this element were:

  • SCAVO CHEMIST: 30 units for a total of $0.839.

  • LAVA SPIDER: 30 units for a total of $0.72.

Water element

The element that I consider the strongest and most complete, often not because of its brute force, but because of its versatility, practically has a strategy for any opposing composition that we will face, for example, DJINN OSHANNUS for magic attacks and the own FLYING SQUID and DEEPLURKER for physical attacks.

We also have a very honorable DIEMONSHARK which is an absurd tank for physical attacks, not to mention the armor and speed bonus, certainly the water element is an answer to any enemy strategy.

image.png

Regarding their use, these cards are sensational:

  • HARDY STONEFISH: Simple and cheap, it can be used to complete the team and protect against SNEAK or whoever has OPPORTUNITY, for example.

  • KULU SWIMHUNTER: Fast unit, has 2 attack points and only costs 4 mana. For low-mana battles, he's perfect for surprising the lowliest units that can show up.

  • CRUEL SETHROPOD: If the opponent doesn't come with a magic-focused attack, our lobster buddy makes a good low-cost tank, at least that's how I think.

  • FLYING SQUID: Needless to say, high attack, high speed, high health and well we have a tall or giant squid haha. Your REACH skill also helps our tank.

  • DEEPLURKER: Our hunter, his attributes are high and even with his skill, focusing on units with lower health, he becomes our best finisher.

You can notice that each common card of the water element has an incredible usefulness and we can certainly highlight FLYING SQUID and DEEPLURKER as common cards, but with a power of rare perhaps, showing that the rarity is just a detail when we have great options.

My last purchase to round out the common rarity on this element was the HARDY STONEFISH, 30 units for $1.049.

Death Element

Finally, the death element, where I also tend to have a good variation of equipment to assemble and which adapts very well depending on the situation. About the common ones, I don't usually use them all so often.

image.png

  • RIFTWING: This one comes in a lot when you have battle rules like EARTHQUAKE and NOXIOUS FUMES, taking advantage of its ability to gain 1 life point per defeated unit, regardless of which side, at level 5 with your BACKFIRE you can do 2 more damage if your attacker misses.

  • SILENT SHA-VI: A great option with SNEAK, it has attributes that match its cost and can even combine with other good units to defeat the opposing rearguard monsters.

About the other three units, they are very situational, and I use them very little, usually to close the exact mana value of the battle. As I often say, no card is bad, it just values better in a certain set of rules.

CRYPT BEETLE, for example, is a pretty average tank, although magic attacks melt it, but when we have the EQUALIZER battle rule, where the units' health is equal to health of the highest unit, it becomes a great option to hold physical attacks and maybe even magical ones.

So everything is a matter of choice, where everyone has their moment to shine.

The last purchases I made were:

  • CARRION SHADE: 30 units for $0.576.

  • SHADOW SNITCH: 30 units for $0.87.

Next Goal

The next batch of updates will be with neutral common cards, remembering that the focus has been on the units of the Chaos Legion edition. About the other rarities, I already have some rares and epics that I leveled up, but it still has a long way to close all of them.

image.png

Another detail is that I still have to raise the earth element summoner to level 4 and since it seems that there has been an increase in the value of the cards, I believe I will have to do this as soon as possible!

That is all! Thank you all and until the next post!

Bem-Vindos Splinters!
