Hello Splinter Fanatics!

This week will be marked by changes in Splinterlands, after all the requirement of Power Colection per league will come to an end, being replaced by a reward multiplier based on the amount of SPS staked the player owns.

Second, the team one justification is listed below and can be seen at: SPS Staking Multiplier for Ranked Battle Rewards

For the past two years, players have been able to earn SPS and other ranked battle rewards without the need to stake SPS, and while many players chose to keep their SPS earnings, many did not, as there was no penalty or negative impact from selling.

This statement came with a sense of revolt for me, I remember that most of my SPS earnings went to acquire cards and grow my account. And I have a few friends who did the same thing. For those who have not accumulated SPS everyone has the right to realize their profits.

In reality the goal of most players was to acquire more and more cards in order to grow their accounts. Now the race is on for SPS, an incentive to sell cards and buy SPS, for those who will remain in Splinterlands.

The Power Collection was desired by many players until some time ago, before the expansion of the Chaos Legion. I remember that there were players who rented several repeated cards just to raise their CP and thus be able to play in bigger leagues, in order to receive better rewards.

Currently, with the Chaos Legion edition along with the Rewards cards there has been a flood of cards on the market. Today, players don't care so much about CP as about the quality of their collection in order to be able to battle in the highest leagues and win as many battles as possible.

In my opinion, it makes no difference whether you remove or leave the CP requirements for each league.

However, transferring the CP requirements by the amount of staked SPs gives the feeling that the cards, which were once the most important assets in Splinterlands, have lost yet another foundation.

Thus, transferring card requirements to SPS causes card prices to keep falling, this is also true for card rents. It's a vicious circle, cards were once a highly profitable asset in the days of the daily SPS airdrop.

Today I look forward to the implementation of Lands, which will require terrain developers to deal a lot of cards. Perhaps that will be the only trigger to give cards the real value they deserve.

Since the announcement of this requirement change on May 15 at Town Hall, I owned less than 5,000 SPS Staked. I decided to do some modest weekly shopping and the earnings from raked matches, Brawl and rewards helped me reach the 10,000 SPS mark.

I remember that the team at Town Hall announced that the implementation would be at the end of the third quarter, which was at the end of September. Then they announced it would be in early August. Today I find out that this change will be in the middle of this season, on July 6th.

I would like to see this rush in the implementation of the Lands as well 馃槄. Due to this anticipation I cannot reach my goal of 20,000 SPS Staked, which is still not even half of what I need to continue playing in Gold League I. For, if I play in Gold I will be penalized with nerfs up to 50% in Gold I League, with my current amount of SPS staked.

The good news is that there will be a tool to rent SPS delegations, for those who have SPS left over (I think they are few). Anyway, I will have to decide whether to go back to Silver League I or to rent cards and SPS delegation, to play in Gold League I. It is necessary to calculate and check what is more viable when, all this starts to work.

I hope that this change in Splinterlands' economy will bring excellent results for the long term, bringing more utility to SPS. The team has been doing an excellent job, even in the bear market.

Ol谩 Splinter Fan谩ticos

Gostaria de ver essa pressa na implementa莽茫o das Lands tamb茅m 馃槄.
