(PT-EN) Estrangulador de Almas, Soul Strangler!

#PT first, #ENG depois, #Ecency forever😅

O TIME QUE EU DECIDI MONTAR

Meu time ficou com as seguintes posições:

  1. HARKLAW, cuja função principal fazer valer seus nove pontos de vida, com a redução de dano da habilidade Shield;
  2. FURIOUS CHICKEN, servindo para distrair o inimigo;
  3. SILENT SHA-VI, começando com os monstros de ataque Sneak;
  4. SOUL STRANGLER, cuja função seria abater dois pontos de vida do eventual unicórnio inimigo;

A LUTA

Quem não presta atenção come grama!

Round 1

Meu Harklaw é eliminado e neste ponto não posso garantir a vitória.

Round 3

Cai a Rainha e o Creeping Ooze é tocado pela primeira vez. Se o Venari for eliminado no próximo round, a vitória estará garantida.

Round 4

#PT first, #ENG later, #Ecency forever😅

Hey guys, I came back to participate here directly for a challenge of the weekly battle, this is the best game #play2earn there is!! #Splinterlands

This post is a submission to the weekly battle challenge Splinterlands!

Today we go from Splinter DEATH in search of applying the card of the week on the battlefield: SOUL STRANGLER, which in Portuguese means "Strangle of Souls", much scarier than it looks, right? It's a card that I use when I have mana restriction and some other condition that prevents my favorite DEATH composition, that is, this card is in my reserve bank.

CARD ATTRIBUTES

Name: SOUL STRANGLER

Mana: 3 UNITS

Splinter: DEATH

Editing: CHAOS LEGION

Rarity: RARE

Skill: NONE

As I have this card I ended up playing with it at LVL 1, which for my use is more than enough. I have avoided renting on GOLD foliage, declining the 10% bonus in the Focus Point calculation. While writing this post I ended up seeing the price of the letter, which is above my expectations.

MARKET VALUE: U$0.11

According to the CardAuctionz website, this regular LEVEL 1 card is currently worth $0.11, which for me doesn't justify its purchase. I have two units of this letter, both received in daily chests. I don't see the need to level up to higher levels now, so I almost sold a unit.

MY OPINION ABOUT THE LETTER

SOUL STRANGLER is a very cheap card and it does more damage than expected for the mana invested: it takes 2 life points from the opponent. This is the main reason I would play with her. The DEATH splinter lacks low mana cards with high damage, this being one of the exceptions. The fact that you don't have any skills is the balance, you have to judge if this makes sense in your game. On mine, it doesn't.

THE TEAM I DECIDED TO BUILD

This battle took place in league BRONZE I where I am because I have tested one day in league SILVER III and another day in league BRONZE I, and can be watched by [this link](https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_95f45a92df7d2cf049d5e46dca25c62e&ref =crazyphantombr)

I chose to play with THADDIUS BROOD, LVL 2, which I'm renting this season. My plan was this: use my damage reduction tank, Harklaw, followed by a focus on SNEAK. I figured there would be healing or protection monsters on the enemy team, which should come with EARTH due to the opponent's battle history.

My team was in the following positions:

  1. HARKLAW, whose main function is to make it worth its nine life points, with the damage reduction of the Shield skill;
  2. FURIOUS CHICKEN, serving to distract the enemy;
  3. SILENT SHA-VI, starting with the Sneak attack monsters;
  4. SOUL STRANGLER, whose function would be to kill two life points of the eventual enemy unicorn;
  5. URAEUS, making the pair of Sneaks.

I thought this team was really good. There is a risk of the opponent using the unicorn Mustang with tankheal, and an even lower chance of exploiting my unshielded rear via a goblin with Sneak. But I am very hopeful that my strategy will prevail.

THE FIGHT

My opponent used OBSIDIAN LVL 2, thinking he could power up his monsters with extra magic point. Used the VENARI KNIFER tank, figuring his Thorns would be useful. It harmed me with CREEPING OOZE and made a fool of QUEEN MYCELIA, since their shields were not applied to the team. Who doesn't pay attention eats grass!

Round 1

The first attacks are nullified by the Divine Shield skill. As I have a Sneak duo, I can eliminate the first monster.

Round 2

Silent Sha-Vi's speed hurts my strategy, as it hits before Ureaus, and as it needs to destroy Divine Shield, Queen Mycelia remains alive. My Harklaw is eliminated and at this point I cannot guarantee victory.

Round 3

The Queen falls and the Creeping Ooze is played by the first time. If Venari is eliminated in the next round, victory is guaranteed.

Round 4

The Venari Knifer is eliminated by Sha-vi, leaving only one attack monster on the opposing team. With his 1 magic damage, he won't be able to touch my Uraeus until he's completely ripped apart by the attack power
DEATH Splinter.

Round 5

The fight ends in the hands of Ureaus.

The opposing team has drained of blood and withdraws from the battlefield.

Nothing more to do, I withdraw my almost complete team from the field, with only two casualties.

Result

What happens here is that my ECR is around 56% because at the beginning of the season I skated a little in the bronze until moving up the league.

Due to my Focus Point being playing with splinter DEATH, I got a 40% bonus. Still, 1,860 points from RShare. High compared to my immediately previous earnings!

The battle took place in the BRONZE 1 league, even though my rating is 1,380. I am no longer renting CP to play in the higher leagues. I see that my opponent is also around 1308 points, which seems fair.

What did you think of my fight? what would have changed? I won easily due to the great work of my team and the double-sneak strategy. SOUL STRANGLER was decisive because its 2 damage point was exactly what I needed for only 3 mana points.
