Famous for its cobbled streets and blue and white houses, Sidi Bou Saïd, a picturesque village set on a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Outdoor cafes, Tunisian restaurants and small art galleries are also dotted on the heights. Built at the start of the 20th century, the Ennejma Ezzahra Palace features richly decorated arches, mosaics and stucco elements, and the historic Dar el-Annabi mansion houses wax figures dressed in traditional costumes. A marina sits next to a sandy beach.
