Shaggy aka Mr. lover lover, the Reggae superstar has just released an album titled Christmas in the Islands. I know many people in the Icy countries will be warming up to these tunes, especially islanders abroad.
I heard about this album a few months ago and only realized it was out on November 20th when I saw the video for Holiday in Jamaica featuring Neo and Ding Dong. It is vibzy holiday party anthem that is sure to be a hit. This is no ordinary Christmas album, it is more for the rude boys' and gals' as well as the irie roots crowd. No doubt this album will make many want to go to Jamaica for the Christmas, but only few will make that trip in these times. So why not warm and experience the vibes through the music? ( If you are in Jamaica now, yuh lucky).

Shaggy has an A list of featured artiste on this album, but what else would you expect form a Reggae Don? The first song on the 15 song album features Sanchez with No Icy Christmas. (As I type my fingers are freezing off). I have just started listening to the album this morning and another track that caught my attention was one featuring Shenseea and Omi called We Got This. When you have the time, do check out this album, I will be diving into it throughout the week. The album also has some remakes of Christmas classics anyone can appreciate.
