It has been a while since I have heard a new Bounty that reminds me the old Bounty but with new swag. I came across this song via Spotify new releases and let me tell you, it has been on repeat.
The song is executive produced by Johnny Wonder who is the main distributor for Dancehall tracks. The actual riddim producer is Adde Instrumentals who is from Sweden and is behind some of the most notorious Dancehall songs for 2021 including Crocodile teeth by Skillibeng which got a remix from Nickiminaj.
One thing that catches my attention about this riddim is the Dancehall authenticity. While it is a fresh Dancehall sound, it has the foundation elements. Nowadays, most of the beats coming out of Jamaica are trap infused and the Dancehall in it is barely recognizable. This is the only reason Bounty Killer voiced on this track, because it is authentic Dancehall.
