Last week i spent 5 days at a Hare Krishna temple near Sunny Beach in Bulgaria with a dear friend. It was a heart opening time i will never forget. Below are a few pictures:
Inside the temple where we began a practice at around 5.30 am each day.
Śrīla Prabhupāda - who started the Hare Krishna movement in the US in 1966. I have just begun watching some of the (over 100) videos of his journey and teachings: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5517889893DB671A
Many cows at the ashram
One evening singing and dancing out on the street at Sunny Beach. I nearly missed this, being somewhat self-conscious of dancing, but i'm super happy i went. Amazing time, lots of holiday makers around us smiling and some even joining in :-)
Outside the ashram
Me and Harry helping out a little by bagging some wheat grain for making bread and feeding the cows.
And me losing another game of chess :-)
Well that's all for now. Wishing you all a wonderful day. May we remember we are not these bodies which are merely apparitons of the One True Self, so let us play consciously and kindly in this game of life, sharing unconditional love with all beings.
Namaste
