How did Jesus cure the blind man in Bethsaida?

What I understand from this Brother Eli's video:

Mark 8:23-26 tells us that when they brought the blind man to Jesus for healing, he first spit on the blind man's eyes, and put his hands upon him after which the man began to see men as trees. This means the man was not having a clear vision yet.

Then, he put his hands upon the blind man's eyes again, and made him look up, then the blind man began to see clearly.

The reality and wisdom we learn here is that the eye is a delicate organ that tends to work slowly for optimum performance. When ophthalmologists carry out a surgical operation on the eye, that eye is allowed to recover gradually otherwise, it could get damaged again.

When we move from a lighted place to a dark place, the pupil of the eye opens wider in an attempt to pick light and images . Conversely, when we move from an area that is dark to a lighted place, our pupil closes. The adjustment of the pupil is to control the amount of light entering into the eye so that we can see well.
